Hi folks, it's Gary here from Get Home Improvements, local handyman in Aberdeen, doing a quick review on Tool Talk, for a 32mm Rapid Wood Blade and Plastics Blade I mean to use. So this is a SMART Tradesman's Choice. I'm actually going to cut a 40 mil waste pipe, because, believe it or not, my Monument 40mm plastic cutter can't get it 'cause it's too tight to the wall. So I'm going to cut it, see what happens and I'll give you a quick bit of review afterwards. Cool.
So you can see the size of blade. It's a 32mm compared to the normal, the 40mm, for the wood one that I normally use. It's just standard things you get, packet, 10 or something, whatever it is, see what this is like, today we're cutting tube for the pipe. I'll let you know. Thank you.
As you can see, there's the pipe I can't get anything into it to get it cut. I can't use the other side behind the wall, because unfortunately the client's painted all over it, so I can't... cut a lot further back than usual. I can see it's actually a pretty clean cut. I went through really quick, quick, had to put the video off because I needed two hands. Cool. This is the standard 40 mil wood bit thing that everybody has so.
Pretty rough. That's the clean cut from... the plastic tore. That's the clean cut. That's the cut from the wood bit.
Yeah, so, all in all I like the bit, went through really good, quite good. It gave me a good clean cut at the end. Absolutely fine. So the wood bit done okay, would be okay. I need to try this on wood though. You know, I probably want, I'll just keep it for a plastics, and I'll keep my great wood ones for the wood things.
But, actually, it's really quite nice. Just like anything, you can have the best tool in the world, but if you've got not great bits, or parts for it, if you then impact driving using a two pound bit compared to five pound bit, you know, fine. You know, you get what you pay for kind of things. No, I like it. I actually like it. I'm surprised. I thought it'd just be a kind of a bit of a fad thing. But no, I do like them. I think I'm going to try and get these ones from SMART again. Cool. Brilliant. Thank you.

This is Andrew Bennett from Bennett's Safe Gas. Thank you, Tool Talk and Expert Trades, for sending me this blade to test and review. It is the Smart Rapid Wood. I'm not sure if you can see that. It's the rapid wood cutter X2, meaning two times faster. The paint has worn off, because I've been using it for over a week. It's still quite sharp. It has got hot, so it has gone a little bit black on the edge. It is two times faster. And I can say, yes, it does cut wood two times faster. As long as you don't hit the nail, it's the same as everything. Let's put it in the tool and see what it's like. There you go. As you can see, it does cut fast. And you can see there the teeth and it is slightly curved. That curvature just helps it cut through the wood that little bit quicker. Yeah, nice little blade.
