This hammer is very well balanced. Not at all heavy to hold but packs a punch. Feels good to hold. Nice and slim line and looks quite fancy .

Git is a great hammer overall but feels a little underbalanced. It has good anti-vibration. Good value for money though. Ideal Diy'er hammer.

Good hammer, anti vibe is a nice feature. Good value for trades and diy. Rusts bit easier than Estwing if it gets wet but this comes away with a rub of wire wool or light sand paper

Well balanced and reduced strike vibration transfer through the handle.
A decent hammer with an enlarged face for more accurate strike.
Would buy another if lost, can not see it failing soon.

Great quality hammer for the price. It’s never let me down. Weighted just right for me. Would definitely recommend. The mould on the hammer feels great in the hand and I’ve had it over a year now and still not really showing signs of wear.

Decent hammer at a decent price. Not a lot you can say about it, not going to make you a better tradesman but will probably last longer than you will.

Probably the best hammer I have ever purchased. The handle is very comfortable to grip and built to last. Its not too heavy and feels like a quality product.

I've had one of these for over 15 years now and it's been put through its paces. Great weight, well balanced and up to most jobs, whether it's knocking out joists or hammering in nails and clips this is a great hammer.

As a handyman this hammer is a must, it makes light work of all jobs, the weight distribution helps with driving nails in with little effort and also the head has not marked unlike others, is has not rented even when working on roofs, it’s just a must for any tradesman

Really comfy grip. Was dubious about the Antivibe system but it does seem to work. Good claw for demo work too. Now used to colleagues and family members too. Would recommend

Love the Stanley fay max range everything Iv bought so far seems top quality as hammers come I can’t fault it. Feels very good in the hand and has the no slip grip that always a bonus

A good hammer, good weight and balance however I don’t like the chamfered edge around the head wish it was flat. Other than that it’s a good hammer

Strong, comfortable and great to use over long periods. The anti-vibration makes it less painful when chasing out walls. The metal shaft is strong and doesn't splinter unlike fiberglass versions. The head has good leverage and is well balanced

Own the 20 oz type hammer ain’t vibe works well and very comfortable in hand, great design , for prolonged use it does get sore on your arm

What do you need from a hammer? Does what it says on the tin. Must say the anti vibe and grip make it very easy to use. You don't get the sore elbow with this. The claw I found could be a better shape to get good leverage other than that nice bit of kit.

Nice hammer, good grip and feel, really sticks in the hand well. buying an antivibe really does take some of the wear out of your arm when using for extended periods of time. Not all hammers are made equal, this one serves a purpose and is decent value for the money

Very well designed hammer. Has a good strong feeling in the hand and is well balanced and does not feel top heavy, which some hammers can. With a rubber grip it won’t be slipping out your hand as you swing and the antivibe works great. A very good lightweight, balanced hammer would definitely recommend.

Similar money to the Estwing, the head seams a little smaller which helps when using glazing pins. Feels well made and the grip reduces the shock quite well.

Bought this 2 weeks ago quality is really good and wasn't too pricey... Looks really good but the black paint flakes off fast and the anti vibration handle works great

Picked this over an estwing (similar price) basically because I thought it looked cool. Anti vibration in the handle is amazing and very lightweight centre making the swings easier.

it's a great hammer. theres not really much you can say about a hammer but it does its job. it's a well balanced hammer which allows for the perfect strike every time.

I mean it's a hammer how much can I say about it, it has a nice ergonomic handle and the weight is nice. I'm sure someone who uses a hammer every day could appreciate its design more but I use it maybe once a week and it does what I need great.

For a cheaper scale hammer it’s nicely weighted and comfy to use. It’s a tool box must have. Had one for several years now and it’s still going strong with no signs of damage

Bought this hammer as a one tool fits all solution. It is a great hammer but has its limitations. For cable clipping it’s useless the flared head makes it’s a finger pincher and no good for clipping. As a hammer for hitting nails chisels and the like it’s great the anti vibe handle works very well.

Was Bought one of these by the kids for Father’s Day and must say didn’t think there was a difference when it comes to hammers untill now feels a lot more sturdier than my last and has a better balance also

Lovely weighted hammer, i can comfortably use it all day. Its a must to have in tool bag . The magnet top makes hitting the nail in easyer

Love the weight & balance of the handle. Can use it for a long duration with no issues. we have limited use for it as were primarily drainage. But you don't mind having it in the bag!

We have 6 of these.. in the van.. somewhere! Good hammers, does the job well, always using these for our building work. Nice sturdy handle and easy to use. Nice colours as well which are attractive.

Top hammer. Really like this item. Auto loader for nails on the top comes in handy. Anti vibration is good and saves your hands. Nice grip and handle design

On my second one now only problem is most other trades have the same so sometimes end up with an extra one. But great hammer to use well balanced

Great hammer. Low vibration, big head for striking, nice grip. Would but again. Lost my estwing and jumped on this as a distress purchase and won't replace any time soon

Well worth the extra over cheaper hammers.
I had previously been using a really cheap bog standard hammer for many years. This Fatmax one is nicely balanced, more comfortable to use and seems to take less hits than my previous one to drive a nail in. The striking face is slightly larger too, less chance of missing a strike

used a few other brands in the past and usually went for cheap as a hammer is a hammer...... i was wrong. Feels a lot better info the

Had two of these for a while now. Always had eswing in the past but I really prefer these now. Well balanced with good striking power. Had now issues with the face cracking or chipping so that's all you want

Fat max hammers are always good build quality, weight is good and the handle is extremely comfortable. Good hammer

Depends which you get. I bought one from the real deals a few years ago and it had a large head on it making it a little clumsy. My mate has one with a smaller head and its beilliant. Great striking power and balance is good too

Very good quality, serves it purpose well. Is very comfy to use. Avalable in 16oz and 20oz. Pulls nails well. Magnetic nail holder is a handy feature

Lovely hammer to use and still in one piece after plenty of abuse. Quite expensive for a Stanley product but worth it nevertheless

Quality Stanley build, a little chunky but that's not always a bad thing. I feel it costs a little more than it should.

Really happy with my Stanley fatmax hammer even after losing my Eastwing I had since I was an apprentice!
Good balance, bit expensive for what it is and head is slightly too large. Good buy none the less!

Comfortable to use, ideal for knocking holes in ceilings and knocking in cable clips. The head is sometimes a little too wide for narrow chases but it's rarely an issue.

I used this hammer for about 2 weeks and had to change it In my opinion the head size was to large for general joinery and abit top heavy. The grip is quite hard aswel but I would hope it would soften through use
