Stanley Tools FatMax® BladeArmor® Tape
The Stanley FatMax® BladeArmor® Tape has a Mylar® coated steel blade and an impressive stand-out of 3.35m. The Mylar® coated blade is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than normal lacquered blades. Its high-impact ABS plastic case has an oversized rubberised bumper, to prolong the life of the hook. With rubber overmould to deliver additional comfort and control, whilst also increasing durability and impact resistance.
The 3-rivet, corrosion resistant, Tru-zero hook allows for accurate inside and outside measurements. This particular hook also features top, bottom and side hooks for easy above, below or side measurements. The forward blade lock design makes it easier to lock and unlock the blade.
Available with metric only or metric and imperial graduations.

Great little tape measure. Had one for years and it still going strong. Best one I have ever owned. I have 3 off these spread of cross my tool boxes

I did favour the fatmax tapes for a fair few years but sadly they have gone a bit downhill.
Accidentally caught one with a saw so replaced it as I always do with another fat max.
Within a couple of months this one started developing a split in the blade which then broke.
The same with the replacement for that new one.
I am sad to have to switch away but for a fairly premium price now the quality is not there to justify it anymore.

Great feel and sturdy tape. However they do bend easy and go out of shape. Although for the price, its always worth keeping a couple in the van.

Good and easy to use. Numbers are good size to see, and locks nice and tight. Not to bulky to hold, and actual tape good quality and not flimsy

Quality tape measure with a nice wide blade and the numbers easy to read lasts a long time with out going Rusty its a reasonable price for the quality of the tape measure this tape has lasted me a good while the longest out of any other tapes Ive had
