Stanley Tools FatMax® Folding Twin Blade Knife

This is a great knife. The body can last forever also coming from a solid brand overall. Definitely worth the money. Good professional level knife.

Recently purchased this cutter, came as a deal with two packs of blades which are very sharp and long lasting. It seems to be a safe knife to carry as it folds up whilst being carried on the job. Easy blade change. One handed use for opening. Seems well built but to early to test for durability.

I carry this knife in my work trousers everywhere. I’ve purchased 3 now (due to losing them). I’ve tried a few other brands/models but always end up back with this one. Just the right size and weight for how I use it

Was a good purchase, I was very happy with the knife in the beginning, I have since bought another similar knife as it was failing to close properly still operated as a knife but wouldn’t close up properly because spring had come loose in the handle

On my third one lost the other 2 it’s funny how customers never let you know you have left something behind good locking mechanism and super safe

Lightweight and small enough to store in a pocket. The folding action give you piece of mind that the blade won't slip out whilst in your pocket, the quick release blade change is great and a time saver when needed.

Bought one of these recently when my standard Stanley knife failed by not letting me extend the blade anymore. I use this every day, even at home, and it’s probably the best knife I’ve used.

Quality knife, nice and solid, easy to use and easy to change the blade, folds up nicely and again if maintained well will last for a long time.

Had one of these a while now and been fantastic. Blades seem to last a decent amount of time and the closing clasp part has never gone wrong. Easy to hold and easy to use. Well worth buying If you're after a sturdy knife that can fold up small.

Top notch knife, has storage for spare blades which is handy. Love the twin blade functions also. Compact knife that won’t let you down. My day to day knife.

Good quality knife, has blade storage which is handy, comfortable feel and easy to use, only problem is sometimes the blade comes out a bit too easy but this doesn’t happen a lot so I learnt to deal with it

A decent build quality to this tape measure. I like the fact that I can store some spare blades in the hilt which is handy. My only issue if that sometime the opening mechanism can become stiff with dust etc

Nice folding knife which is easy to use but do feel that the blade can sometimes can come out easy. The clip and action on it are smooth and build quality is of a very high standarc

Sturdy and solid design. Spare blades kept in hilt. Easy to store away in your tool belt or side pockets.

Only downside I’ve found is any dust and debris that is in your pouch/pockets can get clogged up within the opening mech.

I actually picked this up on a great deal with a large pack of blades. This is my go to knife for most jobs. Its compact yet tough. I'm not sure I'd have purchased off the deal but it turns out it was worth it.

I’ve had several “Stanley” knives and they worked but are not exactly compact. In my previous job, I worked in stores loading and unloading boxes and always using a knife to open boxes.

I got the Stanley fat max folding knife and it’s been a god send to use. Not only is the blade self retracting but it folds away nice too. It compact and great to use and I would recommend it.

It’s one of the more expensive knifes on the market but you get what you pay for, I would give this 5 star, the grip is fantastic and it’s compact too, 5 star

The knife I would highly recommend you get this because it’s cheap holds blades inside and has a safety lock on it I have three off them as I never get them back but

The duel blade works well, apart from getting the packaging off! Ideal for leaving in the pocket during the day. Works from opening the boxes with plastic strapping, to scoring plasterboard

Wasn’t sure what to rate the “features” option above but the knife is my go to tool. I have two other brands including a ck one but love this one.

purchased this knife recently. very impressed with the build quality. good well priced product. very tidy piece of kit. good weight that you know it will do the job.

Great to use and can be stored away in tool boxes and bags, great to keep in the van. Would even be handy for use at home when needed.

Only recently got these as forgot usual knife I carry great knife heavy which to me means well made and isn’t going to fall

Good knife but a night mare if your dry lining with it against a straight edge I believe itnis over priced for what it is still in would say no if i was given one

I have this it's a great pocket knife and very strong and is great when under pressure definitely worth the money. Features a belt clip and mine came with a casing

Really good knife had the fixed blade knife before. ease of use is good foods away come with extra blades.

Value for money yes got it on offer.

Stanley fat max are a great build of tools and I highly recommend them never really been let down by any of their hand tools

Feels good in your hand but changing the blade once dust gets in proves increasingly difficult and in general Irwin are a better knife of late

Excellent knife. Folds to nice compact size and retractable blade is good. Don’t need a screwdriver to change blades too.Handy clip and can store 3 spare blades.

Stanley are the leaders in knives and have been for ever and always , the 99e is my favorite but any of them work perfectly and value for money too

Absolutely love this knife easy compact lost my old one but replaced it with a new one of these and cheep to replace

Fat max are becoming the standard now, this little knife is now the least I would expect from a knife, they work well, I'm a gas engineer so it doesn't get a lot of use, but it's still a must have.

Great when you fist get one, until it breaks 2 months later and you buy another and the same keeps happening

Very good knife clearly designed for floor layers but good for any trades that regularly use a Stanley knife. One blade goes blunt rather than having to waste time changing blades just pull one blade down and push another blade up saving time then change the blades at a later time.
