Stanley Tools FatMax XL Trigger Clamp 150mm
The Stanley Tools FatMax® XL Trigger Clamp has an engineered resin body, that provides minimal distortion and movement, with a die cast ergonomic release trigger, for quick-release and class leading grip.
It has a tough, heat treated steel I beam bar that provides long lasting strength and durability. Fitted with removable, soft jaw plates that are grooved for improved grip and a recess for bar and rounded materials. The jaw can be easily reversed, to become a spreader without the need for additional tools.
The new FatMax XL Trigger Clamp is 24% stronger than the previous model, and holds a stronger force over a 24 hour period.

How did we manage without these things ? The time I have wasted screwing up heavy G-clamps in awkward places to little effect, and then unscrewing them again, usually losing some skin in the process. One at either end of the Workmate holds a board in place for sawing leaving two hands to control the saw. One placed over the start of the cut (after sawing past that point) stops the cut-off part breaking off too early. They're pretty nifty for holding stuff together while being glued and/or drilled too, with nice end pieces which spread the load and leave no marks.
If you do carpentry, a single pair probably won't be enough. You'll soon wish you had more.

Expensive but solid these clamps used them to suspended something heavy from the floor while fixing and didn’t buckle under the weight really good

As far as clamps come they are up there with the best. Fast to apply grips like hell very durable no mark pads are good In case you over tightening not much more you could ask for.

Great set of clamps to have, easy to use one handed, they have a very comfortable feeling in the hand as you tighten. With soft ends on the clamp they will not damage the surface you put them on. Have a quick release thats easy to access and use. Can get these in a variety of lengths which is always a good thing, in general a very good clamp to have. Would highly recommend.

Managed to purchase 2 of the largest ones of these for £50 from a Black and Decker outlet shop in the Lowry outlet mall about 2 years ago. Best money I’ve spent on clamps. Strong, quick release and really firm grip once they are put in place.

Stanley make quality clamps strong grip compared to some others where they just seem to loosen but not these have three sets for couple of years still as good as day one

Value for money is a key thing these days and these clamps are very good.
The ends don’t damage workpiece when under load and hold very firm as to be expected from a Stanley product.
Highly recommended for a variety of tasks.

Bought a couple of these on a wim a while back. They are solidly made and very robust in use. Very easy to use and very quick to clamp and release. Can be used on a number of materials.
