This should be everyone's go to tape, cheap, accurate and reliable.
I always have one in the tool bag, one in the van, one in the car, one in my man drawer and one in the shed. At such a cheap price there's no reason not to.

Cheap disposable tapes usually 2 for 10 pound. Perfectly serviceable and accurate but not the best for long jobs as bend easily. Not the best built and will fail after a big fall.

Always keep a spare pack of these spare in the van as always losing one. Good tapes but bend easy then just get thrown away. Stabila are much better but pricier. Sturdy and strong and good on site.

Just bought another 4 2x 5m and 2x 8m these are great tapes not too bulky in the pocket and work flawlessly every time I have been using the last one for about 4 years but stood on it and kinked it a wee while back and now it is splitting so upgrade to the green one so I know my one as so many have the yellow one.
I hope they all last so long and I will never need another now.

My go to tape measure. Always end up going back to this one. Have tried various different Stanley tapes but can not beat this one. They take a good battering at work but for the cost replacing them is not a problem.
