Testo Smart Probes - Heating Set
The compact heating set with the testo 115i clamp thermometer, the testo 510i differential pressure measuring instrument and the testo 805i infrared thermometer is ideal for important measuring tasks performed by heating engineers. In conjunction with a smartphone or tablet, all heating system temperatures and pressures can be measured and checked. Users can read off their measurement values comfortably in the App installed on the end device.
In IR temperature measurement, on underfloor heating, for example, the App makes it possible to document the measurement with an image, temperature measurement value and measurement spot marker. It is also possible to change the displayed measurement parameters quickly. Application-specific menus, such as pressuredrop test incl. alarms, support the heating technician in his daily work.
All measurement data are presented either as a diagram or in tabular form. The measurement data log can then be emailed directly as a PDF or Excel file. In the handy testo Smart Case, the measuring instruments can be conveniently transported and are always to hand when they are needed.

Good bit of kit and reasonably good value for money. Great for testing flow and return temperatures at the boiler or for balancing radiators. Also can be quite handy for fault finding on boilers and heating systems.

Extremely smart bit of kit. Everything I need as a service engineer. I can be at the appliance with my testo 510 checking operating pressure while I have the 510I at the meter checking the pressure there. The whole set is perfect for installation or servicing.

Seem good so far. Got 2 temperature probes and the manometer. I use the temperature probes mainly for solar thermal and are great. Compact and fit in to the toolbag nicely.

Good set, temperature clamps are really handy and having all the information on a device you can have separate to the clamps are great. batteries last ages good build quality

I've got four temperature clamps but the Bluetooth keeps dropping out randomly once I have more than two probes connected even though you can supposedly connect six at once.
I thought it may be my phone so I tried to install on my Nook tablet and it says it is incompatible even tho it is an android. I downloaded the apk and that won't install either.I contacted Testo a couple of times to find out what was going on but have had no joy.
Great price.
I've been disappointed with the functionality as they could be a great asset but haven't worked properly. Hopefully a change of phone will resolve it.

Wouldn't be without my smart probes now, they make boiler diagnostics a breeze with 4 temp clamps i can measure delta T, hot outlet and cold inlet to quickly diagnose combi hot water issues.
The manometer is also a great bit of kit.
Batteries last forever in them too, had mine a year now and have only just changed th let batteries out!

I've got 2 manometers and wonder how I managed before, I have one on the boiler and one on the meter, if they are close enough together you can see both readings.
I also have 2 temperature clamps, these make it so much quicker and easier to fill in the benchmark and also to fault find

Tester.co.uk are usually quite reasonable too. If they don't stock them, they can usually get them. I buy network testers and other bits from them...
