Surprisingly long lasting for a crayon. Chunky so your not fumbling round in your pocket trying to find it and they seem to work on any surface that I've tried them on so 10/10

Great crayons good size and feel comfortable to hold have marked every surface I have tried them on so yes definitely recommend these crayons. But a word of warning don’t leave them in the cab of the van on a sunny day as they will melt. Remember to put them in the back of the van

I'm assuming the picture doesn't match the yellow crayons I was sent out. If so the crayons are a great addition to my toolbox, found that they mark almost any surface I tried them on including some high gloss slippery tiles and they marked up great and the yellow colour showed up great.

At first glance I didn’t really think much of these and didn’t think they would be much use in what I do, however first use was to mark out some fixing positions on an exterior wall these not only marked up fine on the dry crumbling surface but also stayed marked during a rainy spell. The size of the tip was a bit on the large side for more accurate marking but the genius in me always looking to adapt found that the tracer pencil sharpener could fit these big fellas in once you removed the green bit and so chunky nib was now sharpened and accurate for marking on other materials! So I gave it a try on the tiles I was installing and it not only marked up nicely and clearly it only stayed on whilst wet cutting on the tile cutter! Result !!

great for marking on rough surfaces and for a measurement with some play. can be sharpened into a point to make for a more accurate measurement

Good marker, for using on timber, concrete and plasterboard. Personally I prefer to use just a pencil and marker pen. But if you were a joiner or bricklayer would be more useful I’d imagine

These things are great. So far the mark all surfaces and are also easy to wipe of the marks with either a dry or wet rag. Visible marks that are easier to see than pencil or some marker pens.

Excellent for marking on all surfaces i come across even the rough concrete floors, easy to see as the bright colours are highly visible and probably some of the best I've used

Great for use on hard to reach areas, as the lead can be extended to allow even accurate marking on drill holes that may be required in places where a normal pencil will not reach.

The tracer crayon markers are useful for making a wide range of materials and surfaces. The red colour useful for marking dark surfaces. Thy are less pronounced on very shiny surface, but in general useful to have.

Hi, guys. Expert Trades have sent us to have a wee look at Tracer Construction Crayons.
Now, they're quite good wee things generally is marking, as if you can't get that yourself. Now, unlike most crayons, they don't taste as nice. Which would be very handy for our dry marking bricklayers to know. Bear with us.
So we have a wee thing here to mark up. As you can see, we're cutting this here up, so we're just going to do a couple of marks on it. First thing we're doing is to see it's just... As you can see, it's very, very clear.
And they work well on concrete, brick, everything else I've seen so far. Yellow's quite clear, don't know if they come in any other colours or not. But it's a good wee crayon, it's handy to have. They do seem very long-lasting, even after going on the concrete. You can see for yourselves, that's a brand new one, it still hasn't really used much of the nib.
And they're reasonably strong, they don't snap that easily. They also, if you need to write on wet surfaces as well... Fortunately for once it's actually a nice sunny day here, so don't have anything wet to try it on.
But, again, worthwhile purchase, good to have them around. Especially if you have a lot of marking to do on concrete walls and anything like that.

Okay. This is the Tracer and it's the new product they've got coming out. It's the Construction Lumber Crayon Markers. I believe they're available in three different colours, red, black, and a yellow. All of them are highly visible on different things. It'd be nice if they did a pack with probably all three different colours, instead of just separate boxes of each individual colour. There they are there. Let's just get one out and give it a try.
Yeah, no effort. Just easily writes on any surface. I have tried it on a few surfaces. This here is plastic-coated. I'm just using it as an example because if I'd taken the plastic off, I wouldn't want to use a pencil on it because it might scratch and you wouldn't leave them off because it's not going to come off. It's durable. It doesn't easily wipe off, see, but it does come off.
