Tundish with self closing valve
Incorporates a self-closing membrane which opens to allow discharge to flow freely and then closes to form a seal. Membrane seal creates no resistance, ensuring smooth discharge flow from the PRV/TRV, and is spring-free, so not affected in hard water areas. Prevents foul odour or sewer gas entering the building when installed into a waste or soil pipe. If required the top tundish window can be removed from the Mactun body for inspection or cleaning when maintenance work is being carried out.

Great tundish, similar to a hottun, easy to install but in some situations can be a bit bulky. Colour is pretty spot on as well - mentioned this before to someone but these can sometimes discolour. Would recommend to anyone.

The material feels sturdy, the colour is correctly white (some of these go a funny colour after a while and look unsightly). Only thing I would say is it's a little bit big

Good product. Very oversized. I’m sure you could achieve the same with a much smaller product, but it does the job that it was made for so can hardly complain...

Grays self closing valve from McAlpine easy to fit and great quality. Pretty much sums up Mcalpine tbh. Have used them before and will continue to use them again.
