Review for Uponor MLCP Press Fit Sytem by AGV Plumbing & Heating
24th September 2020

We mainly use MLCP and it covers heating, cold, hot and ufh all in one pipe system. It’s great for bore hole pipework and we use it in plant rooms also, the pipes cheap and we haven’t had a problem to date. (We have installed 21miles of pipe to date and 1000s of fittings there is a reason they use this on the continent)

Really good stuff to use if and when you get the hang of it. Don’t be shy and really man handle it to get it into place and ready to crimp.

Review for Uponor MLCP Press Fit Sytem by PipeDream Plumbing
11th February 2019

I've been on called to a number of callout in the last 12 months where this mlcp has been fitted. It always leaks around the fittings from my experience, this might be down to installer error but it does raise questions. The pipe and fittings are rarely stocked on the shelf in my local merchants and fittings and adaptors are expensive along with having to hire out equipment

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we do recommend that training (free onsite) is undertaken before carrying out an installation. The actual installation process is simple to follow when you have been trained and offers complete joint security (no reported incidents). We hold nearly £5million worth of stock within merchants and our Uponor warehouse. If you are having issues locating stock, please email customerservices.uk@uponor.com and we promise to have the stock you require in your merchant next day providing you order by 12pm. I hope that helps. Amar

Only done one job with this, did a repair on a underfloor system in a kitchen dug the floor up found the leak cut out pipe with 3 pin holes and repaired it with this system was easy to use and was tidy finish and slim enough to screed over done this job two years ago now still do work for the customer and not leaked at all, I will recommend this for repairs or first fix

I bought the hilariously small pocket level, to use when fitting electrical backboxes and accessories. It’s been great for these uses, the magnet is very strong and it’s so small it’ll fit inside a standard UK single backbox. I paid about 6 quid for mine, and I flipping love it, even if it does get a few laughs on site.

Had a set of these for a couple of years and they’ve been great! Being stubby you don’t usually have much trouble drilling a nice straight hole when working up between joists or under floorboards. When they’re brand now the absolutely eat through timber. Quite expensive but reasonably hard wearing, they do say they are nail proof but I always try to avoid that as much as possible to prolong their life

These little hole saws are brilliant for drilling neat holes out in thin metals and plastic. I have been a long time user of starrett holesaws but when it comes to drilling out holes in trunking, boxes and panels I’ll 100% use on of these instead! Last a decent amount of time too so long as you look after them.

My favourite torque screwdriver set on the market right now, Wiha have done a great job in making the handle still feel ergonomic in the hand despite it being larger due to the fact it’s got the torque guts in it. Setting it is simple with the included tool, and I think it’s got the best torque range out of its competitors at 0.8nm to 5.0nm. Keep an eye out for deals on Amazon for this, it drops down to around £110 sometimes
