Uponor Quick & Easy Shrink-Fit
Quick and Easy Shrink-Fit (Q&E) is a revolutionary jointing system for plastic PEX pipes, which utilises the shrink-back effect.
Simple to use, a Q&E Shrink-Fit joint can be made in 3 short steps:
1. Cut PEX pipes using a pair of cutters
2. Expand the pipe with a ring attached to the end using a Milwaukee M12 (12-24mm pipe) Or M18 (12-40mm pipe) gun
3. Add a fitting to the end of the pipe and within 30 seconds a secure joint will be made

The Q&E pipe system is fantastic. its professional plastic plumbing. No inserts no o-rings no grip rings, just the collar and fitting which seals to the inside of the pipe (so no need to worry about scuffing the pipe during pull throughs), and can be swivelled around after shrinking unlike crimped systems. Have used on major jobs since 2015 with zero leaks ans 100% confidence

This is a fantastic product for PEX repairs, simple to to fit and fast. Most customers seem amazed at how quick the repair can be done, and without any unsightly fittings protruding up into the floor coverings when not in a screed.

Sorry but don’t really get it, seems to be a very expensive way of jointing plastic pipe, there are other better systems on the market (only my opinion).
