Product Information: There are two different kinds of heat exchanger that can be installed, the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. The primary is present in almost all boilers and it transfers the heat from the burner to the water within the system. The secondary heat exchanger only appears on combination boilers and allows the heat to be transferred between one closed system and another.


This part is present in 18 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant VU 246/5-5 , ecoTEC PLUS (2012-CURR), VU 246/5-5 R4 , ecoTEC PLUS (2012-CURR), VUW 286/5-3 .
