Wiha LiftUp 25
It's not uncommon for tradesmen out on jobs to need a screwdriver with a specific profile but not have the precise one within reach when they need it. The Wiha screwdriver with the LiftUp 25 bit magazine puts an end to such problems, because with only one tool you have 12 different drives at hand anytime, anywhere. LiftUp thus replaces an entire screwdriver set. At the press of a button, the bit magazine at the handle end comes out, delivering the 25 mm bits with a 1/4" drive ready for removal. The contained standard bits can be used for both manual and machine operation. Thanks to its large volume, the ergonomically shaped two-component handle ensures optimum power transmission and maximum torque values. Powerful screw fastening or loosening is therefore particularly easy for the hand.

Very handy piece of kit for emergency call outs. Not having to carry 4 or 5 screwdrivers every time. Looks awesome too with its slow rising driver bits popping out the top. Hard wearing and all the quality you would expect from Wiha.

Hi, it's Gareth from Udell Electrical Services here. I've been sent another tool to give a review and have a look and try out by Expert Trades Tool Talk. It is the Wiha screwdriver with multi attachments. It's got a cool sort of function, how long it lasts, who knows, but there we go. That's quite funky. And the tips are then in the end so you can then pick which tip you need. They've got a range of flat heads and fill up some Pozidrive heads. There's also Torque heads and the top, just a general use. So, you can take one out of the holder, clip it into the magnetic holder and then it just becomes a general screwdriver. The handle is fairly chunky and fairly big to hold. It's obviously bigger than a standard screwdriver because it's holding the actual bits inside the thing, but although it's bigger it's still easy enough to use and you can still use it.
I have to say, I do keep it in the side door of my van just by the driver's door, just as an emergency kit. Just if I haven't got my tools on me or rather than if it's just a simple screw that I need or just jumping out to do a quick thing rather than dragging all my tools out the back of the van, it's just in the driver's door, just down here, down the side. I can get it out and it gets me out of a hole every now and again. Had an occasion the other day where I went out and was sorting an intercom panel out that had got anti-theft top part. So, I ended up using the Torque driver bit, which again, I hadn't actually got my proper toolbox Torque head screwdrivers. So, this one actually got me out of a hole, which was quite good.
As I say, the bits do slide back in, but as I say, how long the push out bit lasts, I don't know. But in general, it's a good tool, definitely worth having, just keeping by side just as a general get you out of a hole if you need to use a screwdriver. Handle's very comfortable and to say, even though it is up on the large side, you can still use it to get in there and screw the screws in. So again, we're always good quality tools and this one is no exception.
Hi, guys. Expert Trades have sent us out a nice wee screwdriver from Wiha. Handy wee thing. The only problem I have here is straight away, it's not BDE, so it can't really go in the tool bag, but it's a very handy thing. It pops up, all your bits are sitting in there. Come outs, close it down, put them on. Now I've used it already a few times. It is handy, it is quite strong. It's actually very, very comfortable to use. It's one of these things that I'll keep usually around the house. It's amazing how handy this here will be, especially if it saves me going along to get the toolbox out, and possibly even stay inside the car because again, when you need a screwdriver, it's a great one to have because you don't need to carry anything else.
It's small, discreet, everything fits in well. You close it up. As long as you don't let, and this is from personal experience, don't let your son use it because then all the bits will get lost. But great wee tool. Very, very handy to have around, especially if you need one, it will be an absolute God send. Thank you guys, see you again.
Now then, people. Hope you're all doing good. Thank you for joining us once again. It's McCauley from Smart Pipe Plumbing Services. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Expert Trade and Tool Talk TV for sending me out the Wiha interchangeable screwdriver. Really good bit of kit. I'll walk you through it first and explain how I've been using it and what I think of it, basically. So first of all, you've got the magnetic end hex bit as standard for the bits to go in. You've then got a metal shaft going down which is hexagon as well. So you can get a spanner on there and give a bit of extra bit of torque if you need to. You've then got a plastic and rubber handle so it gives you a solid grip. Then you've got two buttons at either side which you just push in and then you've got your 12 bits in there.
You've got everything from Phillips, Pozi, Flat and Torx and they're just in a silicon sleeve and just pop out nice and easily and they fit in there. If you can just see, it's a hexagon fit so they fit in there solid and they're not going to drop out like some other screwdrivers do. Tip, the hexagon bit at the end is magnetic. It has a really strong magnetic in there so that's not going to fall out ever. And I've used that for grabbing onto screws and pulling out boilers. So like I just said, I've been using this for boilers in my boiler bag. It's really handy. It's got everything I really need in there to work on a boiler. Any other bits I need as well, I don't have to use these bits. I can use any from any manufacturer and I can put that in the end of there because it is a standard fit.
I've had it in two tool bags now and it fits in both them nicely so it's not too bulky compared to some others that are on the market. So in my opinion, it's a really good screwdriver for anyone in the plumbing and heating and anyone doing gas servicing and repairs. It is my go-to screwdriver now in my tool bag. Anything I would change in it or anything I'm a bit worried about is probably the other thing would be the spring and the clips on here. The plastic silicon sleeves are really held on by this rubber, as far as I can see, to stop them from coming off and sliding about. So just how long will that last before, over time, it's breaking and not popping out and these bits falling off? But time will tell with that. But as initial thoughts and after a week or two of using it, I like it, will be using it going forward. Thank you. Hope you all enjoyed it. Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe, hit notification bell and I will see you guys next time.
Hi guys. John Lewis here, AL Plumbing & Heating. Just going to do a little talk on the Wiha magnetic magazine holding screwdriver bit. It's a nice bit of kit. Feels strong in the hand. Yeah. Nice, not too big, but enough to get you some meat on it. And then what I like, the two buttons on the side, press, and it releases a magazine with 12 of the most commonly-used bits that you'll use, from torque to Phillips, a plain screwdriver.
What I like as well is each one of them is marked quite clearly with the size that it is, so that helps. Magazine opens and closes nicely, also is good and strong. The magnet in the end of the bit is strong. You can hear the click as it pulls in, so that's going to give a good bit. You're not going to drop the bit out the end.
Yeah, really nice tool. It's going to be strong, feels comfortable, and as I say, all the bits in the end. This is really sturdy as well. It's not like you're going to drop all the bits out. The bits hold in nice and tightly, but... They're good. It's a good piece of kit, really good, and what I like is you've got 12 different screwdrivers all in one handy piece. Thumbs-up from me. Great bit of kit.
Hi, this is Andy Bennett from Bennett's Safe Gas and I'm going to do a Tool Talk review on this Wiha screwdriver. I'm not sure what it's called 'cause I've lost the package that it come with 'cause I've had it for a few months now. It's a magnetic end; you can hear that good strong magnet. And you push these two parts in together at the top and the lid comes up, and that's where you keep your bits, which it's fairly handy. If you've got a tall case, like a briefcase style or a service box or something where it can stick upright and just stay there, it's a good tool. In your general toolbox, I just have an open tool bag, as soon as it hits the sides, it opens up, you lose your bits. I have had this rubber come down and they all fall out. They don't easily come out, but when it's open like that in your toolbox, there's nothing left. The clips, they do wear, which you can see that one's a bit ... But as I say, in a service kit, brilliant. In a open toolbox that you're going to use generally, that's not the tool for that. To be fair, I'll keep this at home now in the drawer. It's got generally all the bits I need. I haven't got to bother going out to the van, so it's my one screwdriver in the drawer that does everything that I need it to.
Hi, this is John from JPC Plumbing and Heating, here to do another Tool Talk review. This time on the Wiha pop-up screwdriver. First impressions, it's a good-sized screwdriver, nice, relatively bulky handle, which is good for me. Other people might not like that, but it's got a nice non-slip surface. It's shaped so it's flat on two edges to stop it rolling off smooth surfaces, or on hills, for example. A good bit holder, that's nice and relatively slim line and magnetic. And the pop-up part, you squeeze these two tabs, and 12 bits are easily accessible. It's got a variety of flathead screwdrivers, pozidrivers, Phillips, and Torx screwdriver bits. This is very nice. Grips quite nicely. Easy to take out, in to the bit holder. Quite a relatively strong magnet as well, so it doesn't get left in the screw one you've finished using it. Pops back in quite nicely. Rotates, so you can get selection quite quickly. And then tucks away nice and neatly. It's so great addition to the tool bag, and yeah, quite impressed with it so far. The only downside I may see with this, over prolonged use, is that the screw bit holders, they're basically hinged by the plastic moulding and I don't know how robust that will be over a long period of time. But I've been quite impressed with it. Used it for a few jobs now, and yeah, it's good. So I'd like to thank Tool Talk for allowing me the opportunity to review this, and see you later.
Hi, guys. Black Country Al, Fitzgerald Electrical and Plumbing Solutions back again, doing a quick Tool Talk review on a Wiha 12-in-1 screwdriver.
Basically, magnetic screwdriver bit, which is quite handy, and pop the end up like that, which is a bit futuristic, a bit Star Wars-y, and there's 12 bits, six at the bottom there, six at the top, varying flats, pozis, and there's torque ones as well in there. Almost a bit for everything, really, to be honest.
I've been using it now for the last couple of weeks, and it's great, great to have in your pocket and in your trousers, because you don't have to carry loads of screwdrivers around, and if you want to just quickly take the front off something, whether a switch or a box, a shower front or something like that, pop this up, there'll be a bit in there for it. So it's a cracking bit of kit.
I'm just removing some bits and pieces here in the bathroom, taking out a toilet and whatnot, so few various sized screws, pozis, I'll just chuck that out there and pop the bit back in. Shut that up, back in the pocket. Great bit of kit. And like I said, it's magnetic, which really helps, especially if you're trying to pick up some screws, screw here and there, or ... There we go. Or if you drop one. Handy for that. And like I said, it's a great tool to keep in your trousers, in your pocket. It saves carrying loads of different screwdrivers around.
Well made, as you'd expect from these guys. Strong, sturdy. It looks like it's going to last ... The bits will probably, the screwdriver will outlast the bits, to be fair. The bits are pretty good, but I suppose you can change them, you can get new bits and change them, or, if you break them and what have you, but like I said, there's a multitude of bits in there for all screws that you'll come across, or almost all screws.
Great, great tool. I've been using it now for a couple of weeks, and can't find a fault with it, to be honest. I've been keeping that in my trouser, in my work trouser pocket, handy to have. Great.
Hi, folks. Again, it's Gary here, local handyman here in Aberdeen for Get Home Improvements. I'm here to talk about the screwdriver I got from Tool Talk. It's the Wiha 3803, it's a 1/4" or 25mm screwdriver. It's one of these little and boys here. I've used the Wihas before, I've used the electrical version, actually of this. But I love this, this is just like... It holds 12 bits and the bits are absolutely fantastic. They're sitting in these little silicon sleeves just right there. They hold em in place, but they're not too grippy. So they're not sticking all the time. I'm sorry, I'm just trying to do this one handed, give me a second.
So again, it's a fast action. And look, ease in and out, absolutely fantastic. Little rubbers there to keep the things in place. Again, there's 12 bits, you've got your normal bits, you've got your pozi, you've got your slots, you've got your torques on there. And goes away, nice positive click.
You've even got a hexagonal shape on there, so if you need to get a little bit more purchase when you're doing something... And the bit end's magnetic and look, it's a heavy screwdriver, holds it perfect. It's great. As I say, I've used the Wiha stuff before and I used the electrical stuff. The electrical ones, they're a little bit longer. And I used to use the bits themselves for getting underneath there, for boilers disconnected like that.
No, it's fine. Absolutely. Thank you. Yeah, it's worth it. Wiha.
