The Zarges Soft Close Telescopic Ladder offers rung-by-rung height adjustment. Treads lock automatically during extension. Soft close retraction system safely lowers the ladder when retracting. It has a closed length of just 0.77m, meaning it can easily fit into a boot or cupboard.
Has a 2 year warranty.

Easy to use and store telescopic ladder. quite a lot of uses this, can be used as a small steps against an internal wall, loft access if there is no ladder available, and also outside work. It’ll not get you that high but it’ll do an awful lot of height access work up to the first floor.
Very easy to put up and take down. Compact storage with vertical storage in the van viable given its height when collapsed.
Locking feature on the rungs controlled by a two had operation release at the bottoms of the ladder. So very safe.
Only downside is it is a bigger to clean. The gaskets can allow the ingress of dirt and other foreign bodies quite easily, and it’s not the easiest to clean or to service should it be dirty.
Hence it is ideal for clean work and second fixing accessories of loft access. But it’s portability, storage and overall usefulness make it a must have.

Good for limited space.
Used when I had to work out of an estate car after a van died for a little and served it’s purpose.
Having said that, I’ve had some of my sketchier moments up one of these at full chat and don’t wish that on my future self so they stay at home.
The USA have branded them “su1cide steps” as far as I’m aware

Brilliant set of ladders! Fits in the van no problem and is adjustable to verifies heights. I dont use a step ladder anymore as this has taken its place.

They are good ladders to throw into the back of the car and space is limited. They get you into the loft easily. They are simple to use. The only con for me is that I wish they felt abit more secure! They get 6 out of 10 for me.
