Zinsser B.I.N® Primer & Sealer Stain Killer
Zinsser's B-I-N® is the ultimate shellac-based primer, sealer and stain killer. It is perfect for use on interior surfaces and spot priming of exterior surfaces.
B-I-N® offers unparalleled adhesion to glossy surfaces – including glass – without the need for scuff sanding and blocks stubborn and persistent stains. The high adhesion shellac formula seals porous surfaces with excellent enamel holdout, even sealing bleeding knots and sap streaks. B-I-N® works brilliantly on water stains, mildew stains, nicotine, oil stains, marker pens stains and more.
B-I-N® permanently blocks every kind of odour (from smoke and fire damage to odours from pets and nicotine). Its dried film is non-toxic and hypo-allergenic, and it may be used in areas where incidental contact with food items occur.
The primer is white in colour, but can also be tinted to mid-tone colours. It can be applied via an airless sprayer, brush, conventional sprayer or roller. Perfect for interior ceilings, walls, doors and related paintable surfaces and spot priming on exterior metal, trims, PVC and wood.

Coverage: 12.5m² per litre.
Touch dry: 15 minutes.
Hard dry: 1 - 3 days.
Recoatable: 45 minutes.

If you want it covered, this stuff is brilliant. Applies easily and will cover almost all stains with no bleed through. Simple enough to use, even painters can manage it

Been using this range of zinsser for many years always advise to use throw away brushes or purchase to clean out bruses with methylated spirits could do with keeping a wet edge for longer

Brilliant primer/sealer and multiple uses has fantastic adhesion it is shallac based so can be a bit overwhelming at times so make sure you’ve plenty of ventilation I tend to use throw away brushes but you can buy the brush cleaner if you wanted

Excellent quality sealer/primer. Easy to apply with a roller and quick drying. Excellent on MDF. Not the cheapest product but I would use it again.

Really great stuff does exactly what it says on the tin. Can be re coated quickly. Not the cheapest but it goes a long way covers water stains like a charm.

What can I say regarding this product.
I did an insurance job which had a fire.

My go to primer and knot blocker, once it has had a coat of B-I-N then I know the knots won't be showing again. It does smell a fair bit so best off used with good ventilation.

Smells awful but it does what it needs. Just make sure you ventilate.
Had some stubborn stains from old cork panels that nothing wouldntouch, one coat of this and it was like a new wall.

Zinsser bin is my fav paint for stain blocking or undercosting. It super fast drying and recoat time saves me time and money. Ive been using for last 5yrs and love it well worth the money

I always have some of this in the van; usually for touching up knots that are bleeding through.
Works great on preparing previously varnished surfaces to be finished in paint. Really good stuff can't fault it.

Excellent quality stain blocker. Probably a little bit more expensive than other stain blocker primers, but works first time. Always keep a tin handy in the van.

Cant really go past BIN for stain blocking and priming. Although smelly - need ventilation whilst using - it dissipates quickly and the bonus is it is paintable over within 1 hour. Cant beat it - only 4 stars for value as its expensive.
