Clipacore
Clipacore (Formerly Quikcore)
Story behind the brand Stitch drilling and bolstering out holes has been widely adopted for centuries but this was not quick nor accurate and now deemed upon as prehistoric methodology. In the late 19th century there was a technological step change and the diamond tipped hole cutting was born, which has proven to be far quicker, more precise and is globally accepted to this present day. Core bits by design, do however, fail to offer a quick and easy solution to disconnect from the drill. Many will agree, removing the unwanted waste material can often be laborious and time consuming. Throughout the ages time has always been about money and saving time and money still remains to be true today. In 2020 Quikcore was born, designed for the 21st century customer. Come join the Quik release revolution, core drilling has evolved!

Give these a go as I thought it looked a good idea. They are quick and easy to use, saves having to get the spanner out every this you want to change cores. It having to have one for every core bit, it soon becomes expensive.

Tried these out as it seemed a good idea and saves your fingers getting bashed when trying to remove the core from the adapter as well as your spanners too, they are easy to use and set up, you will need one on each core so you just leave them attached and then change as and when, so quick and easy, only issue I had was when using the small core for a 32mm waste the clip snagged on the hole and it wrecked it, the core bit stayed in place but the clip was done and I had to wrench it out, luckily had a couple of spare ones, when I put a new clip on and checked the clearance is really tight on that size core all the others no issue

Received this item as part of the Blue Box deal and honestly don't see the point. The idea in principle is good but it will be good to see how well the clip and pin last when being snagged multiple times.
We have 6 core bits so would cost us £107 for all the cores. Simply put grease on the threads of your core bits and they are very easy to take apart.

I bought the quikcore set about 7 months ago now and have had time to really put them to the test. Iv got to say that I am really impressed that they work as great as when I first purchased them.
I only bought the set with the two attachments as I am only usually coring them two sizes.
The pins come out with some restriction but that is how it is designed. So easy to change sizes, no more wrestling with spanners.
I am going to extend my range and get some more to put on the rest of my core bits.

Just had this for a few days so only really just managed to play with it yet but I find it a great thing ! Mine was free but I’ve already been looking at getting more I just don’t know if I can justify the £100 odd quid I need to have this on all the sizes I use but unless I do just having it on only one is more a pain than not using it as I only have the one arbour so have to keep changing either the adapter or the core plug ! 10/10 for the idea slightly less on the price I’m afraid !

What an amazing invention no more spending 10 mins and a couple of spanners trying to change the core size, just pop the pin out and away you go
