I still occasionally use my 20 year old Hitachi jigsaw (240v corded), it's been a while since I've had to bring it out of the cupboard, but it still performs as good as it did when I first bought it b

Got the 16ga straight nailer gas nail gun. Good reliable bit of kit. Bought second hand after I'd been using a mates. Soft foot doesn't leave any marks, limited recoil. Better than the DeWalt brushless nailer which is temperamental. Not had any experience of their customer service so given them the benefit of my assumption and marked 4 stars!.

Hitachi make mid range products products that are better than cheap diy tools but not as good as Makita, dewalt or Milwaukee tools.
They are a good range with many applications that all work with the one 18v power cell

A good quality brand that always delivers the very best of tools and accessories make sure to have a look at many of there products you won’t be disappointed

A former colleague of mint had the second fix nail gun. He loved it. Seemed like a nice piece of kit for the money spent. Angled gun good for using in tighter spaces. Nice and light when using.

I’ve had Hittachi for years on fall of there tools are very good quality, the only thing i would like to see is more products, i’m an electrician and i see DeWalt and Milwaukee bringing out tool after tool for electricians but Hikoki as there now called haven’t, I personally have invested a lot of money in there tools but i’m finding that i’m having to go to other brands for certain tools

Hitachi or Hikoki as they are now known are a wothy alternative to the big 3 (dewalt, makita, milwaukee) i have used all these brands and in all honesty with combi drills at least, there is little beween them other than price. Well worth considering

I really like hitachi. They have changed their name to hikoki lately. Anyway, i have the half inch router and its a really smooth piece of kit. Great power and cutting ability and i got mine on offer at amazon so i saved a few quid. Better in my pocket than theirs!

Mitre saw for £189 absolutely love it, the clamp isn’t particularly useful but a decent mitre saw bench and that doesn’t matter. The dust collection is pretty good without a vac attachment, it’s just a little fiddly when it comes to blade changes but it built my whole extension cutting all the timber and the fibre cement boards without faulted.
Nice and light.
Folds and clamps into transport easily.
The laser isn’t the easiest to zero but it has stayed true since setting it up. For the money it’s well worth it

I bought an SDS Hammer Drill 12 years ago and after putting this drill through its paces over the years its stood up to the tasks well.
Only problem I've found after 9 years was in chisel mode when it wouldn't lock and started to turn a bit while in use but all drilling modes still work fine.
I've bought a new SDS Hammer Drill since (still Hitachi, just before they rebranded to Hikoki) that I use now and keep the older drill for hole drilling only now.

Have had many of their great products over 13 years . I do l love this product shame you can’t get cheaper replacement battery’s. Will buy more

I bought several Hitachi tools about 15 years ago and the impact driver is still the best tool I've ever bought .The cordless circular saw and reciprocating saw are also still working well .

Brilliant brand with great tools wouldn’t use anything else. They don’t feel cheap, would be lost without these tools everyday. Great value for money with massive savings to be found. Customer support is 10/10 emails answered quick and efficiently!

I’ve just purchased another hitachi second fix nail gun , I was that impressed with the first one that I brought after owning it for over twelve years what a quality product.

Good quality tools. We have the 9” grinder and the 4.5” grinder. Puts up with everything that we throw at them. Very reliable. I would recommend them to anyone!

Hitachi and hikoki are a great brand used a angle grinder and hammer drill and no issues at all from then what so ever we’ll worth the money for daily use

I own a small grinder and reciprocating saw both 240volt. They work as good as the day I bought them! Many years on!
Not generally overpriced in my opinion!
But to be honest I’ve not experienced and cordless products!
Corded great!!!!

Great products, be sure to get the right one though, they come in a DIY version and a professional range, both are good, but the professional user will need to get the blue range and not the green.

Very powerful tools, range is decent in regards what’s needed and not what gimmick tool can sell the most. Look forward to the future of hitachi/metabo

I’ve used loads of hitachi tools and I’ve found them to be good quality. All brands have their issues but in the whole hitachi’s are minimal. I have used they’re 110v router the most and I’ve found that the tool has plenty of power, is easy to use and creates a good quality cut when paired with a good cutting bit.

I have used hitachi tools mainly for the last 15 years, sometimes they go wrong but the amount of work i do I'm going to have the odd tool fail on me, i have a 12inch chop saw £900 the only fault i have with it is that the blade guard sticks slightly, due to a build up of sawdust, could do with an accessable opening to the top of the blade cover.

I only have the single bevel 240v mitre saw. However it is fantastic value for money. Great powerful saw that cuts through anything that fits on its base. It’s fairly accurate out of the box too

Bought a beauty of an impact driver, lasted years with a lot of hard first fix abuse and out door work. The batteries lasted well and hist a good solid tool with plenty of power

Drill and impact are surprisingly good, bit on the bulky side especially the impact driver. But they both really pack a punch. Good quality for a good price

Had a Hitachi drill i bought a while ago now about 5 years. Got a mid range model and only problems i have had is batteries are playing up. But this is old original batteries and well used which just need replacing. Power is still there and it has been well used.

Bought a cheap corded SDS drill to keep me going once and was better than I thought it would be. Didn't quite live up to the milwaukee I was used to using but would happily recommend if someone is in need of a cheap drill that does the job.

I recently bought the hitachi/hikoki cordless grinder with a 5amp battery again the battery life on these batteries are rather good and last longer than I expected.

The grinder it’self is very easy to control and comes with a thick metal cutting disc, I’d never use something that thick in my line of work but it’s a nice added touch.

Have a hitachi combo drill which is approximately 12 years old and still going, not as much power as the new ones but as a cordless it just won’t stop working!

Im on my second 110v skill saw and jigsaw the first of them both lasted years and took some realy harsh use. Ive not owned but used hitachi drills and there just as good with lots of power and well made

Had the 1st fix nailer. Was OK to begin with, but after about 9 months nothing but hassle, miss fire here, miss fire there, gas supply issues, in the end something broke inside,

I've had an Hitachi nailer for a few years and just replaced it with the new hikoki nr1890d 18v framing nailer and what a tool it is dual function bump mode or sequential plus lower running costs and the batteries last really well

Hitachi tools just seem to last for ever. No amount of abuse makes much difference and they outlast most other brands. Always work well and batteries last ages.

I have always found Hitachi to be top quality. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. I have always used there circular sawwhich have lasted for many years.

I’ve been using hitachi power tool’s for a few years now an there well worth there money. I’ve had no problems. An when I have the support is brilliant.

One of the cheaper brands on the market. Does its job but not to same standard as some of the leading brands which is to be expected with the price.

I have a little 10v driver well on my second on as the first one got stolen but love it had the first one 8 years and now this one 3 years old perfect for the more delicate jobs and very light came will 2 batteries love it one the best drills I have highly recommend

We use Hitachi for our finance option for customers & have never had an issue.
Low cost to join so can get this back off one or 2 jobs easily.
Straightforward easy process to follow that works quickly & easily.
They do all the credit checks etc on our behalf & work very quickly....

Have a full set of 24v power tools, use them every day and can't fault them, still going strong after 4 years
