What else would you use? Been using the core kit for years now with no problems, used the diamond tile drill bits again top product, good quality and well made a little on the expensive side but they do last that bit longer than the cheaper ones

I've had a 107mm diamond cutter for a long time and it just preformed great every time I've used it I run the makita core cutter it and after 15 years and loads of holes for 4 inch fans I need to replace this now and will by the same cutter

I use the Macrist core set. Great product and works very well. Works like a hot knife through butter. Very impressed with the quality and lasts a long time.

When it comes to Porcelain tiles, it can challenge the best of drills and patience. Marcrist drills are a great first choice and if used correctly can offer many quick and efficient drilling to be achieved. Might not be cheapest but one good drill bit is better than a tool box full of inadequate ones

Marcrist are excellent quality diamond tools
I have used most types but the one I use most often is the TD850 6mm and 8mm they are great for porcelain tiles dry or wet

I have always found it hard to find a drill that can core a hole for a flue that didn't burn out after 6 uses , but this is a beast , if you use it right and in the lower setting it just doesn't stop and cores in a fraction of the time of my other drills I had used in the past
