It's pound shop quality with home bargains prices. Every tool I have bought from Silverline hasn't lasted. I bought nutsetters to build a garden shed and the magnets fell out. I bought a couple of trowels and one arrived with a defective weld. You're not getting a bargain, you're buying junk.

Cheap and cheerful breaker bar, tough enough for DIY not for work. Some bend under body weight but not to much, think it will work for a while.

Spanner sets are good enough for around the house but wouldn't like to use them on big stuff as they can snap pretty easily. Hole cutters dont last very long

Like most comments have said that you get what you pay for.
You learn by your mistakes, will never buy the holesaw kits ever again.
The work that would need to be done to change my opinion would take to long that I would be retired

Huge range of tools. But as with anything you get what you pay for. Cheap as chips and pretty much as long lasting too. OK I suppose for a housewife/husbands DIY box but even then i would not recommend them. I am sure they have something good but I am yet to find it

I have a set of Silverline spanners but keep threatening to bin them, mostly because the range of sizes doesn’t usually go as big as I need, so I turn to adjustables in those cases, pretty much rendering the set useless. However, they did come to my rescue the other day when I needed a 17mm ring spanner to dismantle some flood lights! So I’ll be keeping them for now. Silverline do have a good, solid range of tools though at very reasonable prices and they are always one of the first brands I check out when buying new hand tools.

Good quality and cheap tools. A lot of range , does just what you need but are basically one of tools or throw aways sometimes or kept in the tool box. Great for the odd job. Some of the stuff is really good and you can't fault.

I’ve got a silverline grease gun at work. Its ok but it’s not the best. Any sort of resistance and grease will squirt out the handle of the gun. And it just feels poor quality. However it is really cheap so what can you expect.

I purchased the silverline car jack a few years ago and I've been very happy with my purchase. A lot cheaper than some of the other brands of car jack's that are out there so I think it's good value for your money

Used many silver line products, most of them are brilliant quality and a very good price. The main issue is the moulded plastic case they come in, does not survive very long on site !

Great value, extensive range of products from fittings to tools. Particularly like the full steel site spade purchased recently as a last minute option after the second wooden handles one broke (not silver line). This is very robust and has stood up to everything I’ve asked if it this far. Value for money, easy to find locally or online at decent price

For general all round tools and fittings with product categories with options then Silverline probably does most things that others cant. If its a general tool or fitting or even something more specialist for automotive or plumbing trades then Silverline will probably have a product to suit every type of tradesman

I buy the silverline brand as it's low cost alternative to the high end market in tools. They function well to a point but I'd say are more designed for the diy person. My experience is with hand tools.

Great value for money, you really get what you pay for but for low-end tools these are bang on the mark. I bought the silverline plane a couple weeks ago and after some fine tuning of the piece and the blade it works like a dream

Silverline are budget tools that are very surprising. Sometimes they last for years and others break at first use.
For a trade I would keep away from them unless it's a tool that is very infrequently used.
As a DIYer I would buy every day of the week. Very good price and can withstand most DIY use.

Very middling on most things when coming to build quality and the ability to last, but I have bought many silver line products and had a mixed experience. One thing I will say is that their lifetime guarantee is great, even when the tools aren't, they are replaced no quibble, and that is worth its weight.

Good quality tools at a tiny price. Tools do what they say on the tin. Obviously don’t match up to higher priced tools but you get what you pay for. I have plenty of silver line tools mainly as back ups to more expensive tools but not had any problems when they have been called into play

For a budget tool they can get the job done but you probably wouldn’t find these in any trademans toolbox. The vde tool kit is ok for an apprentice or d.i.yer. Th precision screwdriver set is ok for taking apart small electronics at home but again not very robust for continuous use

My experience with silver line has not been great, very cheap poor quality. I recently gave them a second try with a buffing wheel, unfortunately the centre hole was so poorly made it rode up the tappered thread and would not have enough resistance to turn. I will not be buying silverline again.

Cheap and cheer full. I own there car pro polisher, storage bag (large), a pile of there drill bits & accessories and there hand tools,
There polisher which the unit its self is great rules smooth and really well, but the pads are rubbish rip very easily,
There large bag is good, it has a solid plastic base on it to help protect tools inside.
Drill bits and accessories are OK but just OK, i find they bend, twist, snap, blunt quickly not great but for the price of them you can't expect much out them.
Hand tools again depends on what you own to what you expect out them some hand tools are great others are not so good (to many hand tools to list on here)
Great Customer service team, there are very quick to reply and resolve and issues with items.
