Cheap and handy. Good for oxidised pipe but will struggle with any paint or anything more resistive to removal.

A metal attachment and drill adapter would see these lasting longer and much more useable.

It’s as it says. It’s a pipe cleaner for getting rid of burs and Scoring the pipes for welding. You can use it on a 15 and 22mm pipe. Easy to use and handy wee tool.

Fantastic little tool. Keep forgetting I have it in the tool box because of the size. Keep looking for a saw. Does the job quickly and efficiently

Something basic you’ll find in most plumbers tool box but takes time in cleaning the copper pipe and leaves scratch marks. There still better copper pipe cleaners out there.

very good tool and not too dear to buy. the only down side is that they don't last very long.

I'd recommend buying a few if you start using these. they are very good the first few times

Not at all bad to use we have the 15 and 22 versions could do with being a little bit deeper to clean more of the pipe in one go
More of a consumable item hence the cost not very expensive

This tool for me was great for those tight spots when you need to clean in situe, worked well and cleans perfect, however it didn’t last long enough, can’t complain as I got both 15mm and 22mm for under a fiver on amazon. Prob won’t bother buying again

Hi guys. This is Dave from DCB Plumbing & Heating doing Tool Talk review for Expert Trades. Today, I'm doing a little review on something I've never used before, just something I thought was a good idea that I found on Amazon. It's just literally arrived in the post. It's a Saturday morning. I've also got a little helper with me today.

Yeah, absolutely. Today, this and this are just tiny little pieces of plastic with some needles or something inside, like abrasive. What this is is it's for cleaning outside of copper. I've never used this before, so I'm going to give it a go, see what we get. This is my 15 mil copper pipe. This is just a 15 mil, it's meant to be a scraper of sorts I suppose. I do believe ... I can't get my finger in it. It doesn't hurt or anything in there. I poke my barbecue with this. This is what I use to fan the flames, shall we say. I've never used it so let's just see what happens.

Look at that. That is absolutely perfect. Yeah, I like that. That's pretty cool. I suppose I could pop it through ... Yeah, it goes all the way through the end. You could go ... So if I twist it one way, I'll do this, let's try and do this straight, so I'm twisting it one way. It seems to be really, really easy to go around. It doesn't do anything. If I go the other way where it's difficult, as you can see, it's obviously against the grain almost.

Oh yeah, that's great. That's making a really good job of it. Rather than having to use wire wool or anything like that, this is making an absolute cracking job of it. You just pop it on, couple of turns and it's perfect. Yeah. I think it was a couple of quid. It's just a piece of plastic with some little nails in it, like abrasive pad in it. Got it in 15 and 22 mil. Yeah, really, really good. Really, really good. Take care guys.
