Review for Bessey Clippix XCL Spring Clamp by Old Metal Guru
14th April 2021

I just bought a handful of the ones with the shorter jaws 2 inches. There's no spot to review them as such.
I've been searching for some good spring clamps for ages. I got some Irwin quick grips as part of a bundle and used them out of desperation one day. I was an instant convert, mourning the death of one of them after an incident involving 2 wheelie bins and a sheet of 8x4 3/4 ply. These clamps have harder swivel jaws and just as much bite as my old ones, I could have bought some 1/4 the price but I knew these would be good quality and have a good clamping force. Comfy grip handles and a nice clean design. If I'm looking to put some force into a job or need bigger than a 2-inch bite I'll grab other clamps, but these are excellent for most jobs. Not much danger of marring the work because you can't over tighten them. I guarantee if you get some you won't put them down.
