Bosch 18V Cordless Multi Cutter

Could not live without his multi tool again! It's probably the most powerful multi tool cutter on the market right now so easy to use and perfect with the right blades for cutting out hard to reach places.

I've had a 12v version of one of these since 2009 and without doubt it's one power tool I would replace same day if it got lost or stolen. I recently bough the 18v version and the added power and run time is gamechanging

I forgot how I managed with this beast, when I first purchased it I didn’t realise how handy it would be! But now I’d be lost without it. Great tool!

A fantastic machine very versatile and a great improvement on the older models with the L.E.D light on the top now ,and the Starlock plus keeping the tool on the machine. An essential in your power tools.

I can’t fault the quality of this,it stands along side any other brand,it is as all the multi tools are quite expensive though,also needs to be used with the bigger amp batteries,blade change is very quick and easy

Have been using this now for a year and its great but if you want the best out of it the 1.5A battery size is too small as this device requires quite a lot of power. Better of with min 3-4A batteries

This is a fantastic piece of kit. I’ve now got both the corded and this cordless model and I can safely say I’d never look back! This cordless one wins hands down for sheer ease of use with the quick release system and the fact you don’t need to be searching for the nearest plug socket!

This multitool is the best around as long as you’re happy to spend the extra money on the starlock blades. The quick release makes this tool so easy to use and it packs a lot of power into a small tool!

Light enough to use on a daily basic for long periods, universal fittings work well on this tool as well as Bosch items, plenty of power from 5 Ah battery but I still prefer powered cable tools. Is handy for those jobs where electric connections are not available

I’d love to give this a higher review as the rest of my Bosch arsenal is perfect.
I bought this second hand so it may not be an issue for everyone but it fails to hold most blades and even when it does they pop out under moderate pressure
Mine isn’t Starlock and like I say, may just be due to past abuse.

Brilliant tool! The slow start is a must and a really nice feature, its very compact and fits in your hand very snuggly blade change is simple and quick with the starlock. The gripe i have is the Bosh blades don't last too long but it gets a battering.

Such a brilliant handy tool to have makes like ten times easier and gets the job done so much quicker. The star lock system makes it very easy to change blades make sure to keep stocked up on them though as not all stockist stock them although never struggled to get them from screw fix.

Hi Bought this a while ago and I use it pretty much every day. It's cheap to buy and it's got so much power behind it. I can't recommend it enough.

Great tool easy to change blades because of star lock , blades are expensive and can wear out quick but wouldn’t be with out one . All Bosch tools are good and 3 year warranty if you register.

this is one of my most favourite tools it's got 6 speed settings quick release of the blades battery life indicator on it the only drawback is the replacement blades are expensive

a very good 'buzz saw'; nicely balanced and goes for ages on a full battery. only bad point for me is the switch, not a 'dead man's' switch that shuts off quickly.

What a piece of kit,love this tool it’s power is brilliant, battery as usual for a Bosch goes on for ever,weight and grip are perfect and easy blade change

This Bosch multitool is a must! Gets you out of many (what would be) troublesome jobs. Perfect for me as all my kit is Bosch. Very robust and the batteries last in it too.

By far one of the best investments I have ever made. My multi tool is used on a daily basis. It makes light work of everything I throw at it. One of the best tools Bosch have made.

One if the best multi tools on the market, I normally buy Makita power tools but after using my friends and try out the Makita multi tool I'm glad I got the Bosch one, the only downside is the blades are starlock and they are expensive, definitely recommend it.

I have used my friends one of these and it works very well, it's only downside is it limits the type of blades you can use, however the Bosch blade are the best (and most expensive)

These are brilliant apart from the fact they need only Bosch multi tool blades or use an adaption. i bought mine from screwfix ( what i thought was complete, not bare) and it came in a cardboard box. dissappointed

Great tool would be lost without it. Bosch makes great tools handy for those hard to get places with a saw

Great multi tool! Bosch is just excellent. Best bit is how easy it is to replace blades. Gets you out of trouble when your having one of those days

Really powerful even compared to a main voltage machine, nicely weighted , great Bosch build quality.
Down side is the star lock blades are quite expensive and doesn’t seem to be many copy/unbranded if any on the market I have found as yet

A good tool seriously let down by the blades, starlock is a nightmare, virtually no one stocks them snd when they do its £15 for one blade that lasts 5 minutes :(

Used in conjunction with the star lock blades it will effortlessly cut through many materials including reinforcing bar buried in walls. Great speed adjustment and anger blades where necessary.

Great product, it complements my Bosch power tools range now. All same 18v battery and is quite light to work with. Easy clip in for the blade, had a few issues with the old Allan key type. All in all impressed, hard to say on value as a lot of places vary in price but for what I have paid for it competitively I am very impressed

Bosch Professional every time!! This bit of kit is an absolute must for every trade........How did we manage before multi tools! As always, you get what you pay for and this will give you years of great service.

Fantasticc piece of kit, wouldn’t be without one and can’t think how I managed before. Build quality seems spot on but only had it a few months.

Great bit of kit couldn't do without it now. Blades get a bit used fast depending what your cutting but it's ok if you takes your time cutting . Quality of build is very strong and robust

Couldn’t imagine the site without one now. Gets you out of so many scrapes. I mainly use it for cutting out back boxes but it also works great on floor boards cutting the tongue out of the grove.

Faultless to use. Really good. I didn't want to jump on the hype when these first came out. But I couldn't live without it now.

I dont know how i manged before i owned this tool. I use it nearly every day. Batterys are good and the power is great. Bosch blades are a bit on the expensive side but i have used the ones on ebay and they dont seem to last as long.

Had the 10.8v i started to use more and more so upgraded to the 18v it's brilliant

I thought they were just for diy Bodgers until I bought the mains Bosch version then I bought this one which is equally as impressive but the blades are different on the newer model with a quick change setup which does work well but as I say incompatible with earlier blades.

This is what you need when you get in that tricky corner your jigsaw or circular cant get to dont know what i would do without it.

Makes cutting out back boxes a breeze. Beats using pad saws

Brilliant piece of kit, not sure how I managed without one of these for so long. Powerful no easy to control. Battery lasts well and the wireless charging is excellent.

Only problem is that it don't like other branded blades , they tend to fly off

Absolutely brilliant, was dubious about a battery powered Multicutter, but this is just a s powerful as the corded bosch I have. Really like the quick change blade system too, no more messing round looking for a hex key, just lift the lever, clip the blade on and snap it shut. It is a bit power hungry, but paired with a 4Ah battery that's no problem.
