I must admit it performs extremely well and can handle just about and my job around the house for screwing fencing panels I can stretch the bemattery life and get a full day out of a 2AH it’s not to heavy and comfortable, which is pparticulatlg good if your holding the thing all day a class drill but shop around to get the best price

I have high hopes for the Li Ion batteries - having 2 batteries will be a big help as well. To be fair, I've assumed 5 star reliability as I've only had the drill a couple of weeks - but so far so good

Hasn’t missed a beat since I bought it. Loads of different speeds, torque settings, lasts all day with my 5ah battery. Doesn’t struggle with too much, even engineered bricks.

Got it with a kit, it is good, but the chuck comes loose whilst making a hole, I dunno if its a common issue or if its happened from me by dropping it, but overall still works and does the job

Over the last 6vyears I've had 3 of these 2 still working, have a habit of putting over size holesaws in ie above 150mm cuts the holes but after a while one burn out. However given the abuse I'm amazed they last as well as they do day to day and staying inside the manufactures rates they will last for years

The dewalt xr combi drill is a brilliant piece of kit. One the best ive used. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Have had mine for 3 years, cut 100’s of downlights dropped of steps and it still works completely fine.

Great drill, powerful, lightweight, robust, very bright work light, batteries last much longer than on my old makita drill. Dewalt became my go to brand, I’ve never been disappointed with a purchase yet and I’m a proud owner of 10 power tools by Dewalt

This is my go to drill. Battery life is great. Light enough to use all day and enough control with the torque to use as a driver too. I have a makita but favour this especially as the T stacking system makes life easier.

I got this drill on offer from Screwfix at £149 and so far it has been fantastic. Feels comfortable in the hand and does the job with ease. It came with 2x 5.0Ah batteries which last for ages between charges. I’m now a dewalt convert and am slowly building up my new kit! Recommended!

Good build quality, good value for money for a metal chucked drill driver. The hammer function is good for occational drilling masonry holes rather than using a hammer drill.

First and probably best drill I’ve ever used, bit on the expensive side but very sturdy and a trusted brand. Would recommend, more eye cattchjng that the makita set

Before I bought the Milwaukee M12 combi drill this was the drill I used everyday it’s certainly very reliable and very good quality. The only time I use it is for continuous drilling joists and more heavier works as the M12 is very light to carry about and does everything I need most of the time

Before I switched to Milwaukee this was my drill of choice, never been let down by Amy DeWalt tool, decent power, decent run time, and decent charge time. All round . . . Decent!

Great drill, never struggles, good battery life, nice weight to it, and nicely balanced. Use it mainly for light block work and drilling walls, down light holes etc.

Good drill with plenty of punch for the money. I have a number of Dewalt power tools and find them sturdy and well made however battery life on some of the newer products a little poor compared to older products

I found this drill surprisingly powerful compared to my old style one I had. Does the job needed but batteries are not the greatest for lifespan. Dewalt drills are a great product if your not looking to spend a fortune. They do take alot of wearing down.

Good product t overall. I find most dewalt tools hard wearing. However batteries seem to die alot quicker.

Superb drill. Wouldn’t choose any other. Powerful and comfortable to hold but not too heavy or bulky.
Dewalt have paid attention to detail with little things like the magnet on the side for holding spare bits.
I’ve used Makitas and much prefer this Dewalt

I bought this to replace my old dewalt drill after many years of abuse yet another great product and so much lighter than its predecessor.
All my power tools are now dewalt so also great being able to interchange batteries

excellent quality. Have owned a range of dewalt gear and wont be using any other make. Suprising how long the batteries last vs how capable the tools are

Excellent power from old brushed model. Metal Chuck is a massive improvement from old plastic one and the new LED can light up a room it’s that bright. Best Dewalt have made

Brought one of these as my back up drill, but since using it has become my first choice of drill to use. Love the fact you can clip it to yourself.

Took a loan of this from a mate to test against my makita kit and is excatly same quality slightly dearer than makita but dewalt always is think I’ll stick to makita tho as grips more comfy

Brilliant drill. Stands up to a fair amount of punishment. I have used mine to core upto 28mm holes through brick/concrete and it didn't have any trouble. Not as fast as a bigger drill but it works and hasn't died yet.

Got a really good deal on this, good power with a good bit goes through joists like butter, chuck spins true unlike others ive used

Great drill, does everything required, on the cheaper range if quality power tools compared to other brands

I like the drill I’ve used them for a few days now and I’ve hade now problem with anything I throw at them with good performance and power

Excellent drill with great power and control battery life is good and it is light to hand easy to use and is worth the money it costs as this last a long time Features are useful with both torque and speed

The whole brushless range of tools work very well with smaller batteries out performing old larger ones. Nice balance to this driver. Dewalt offer great value to all trades.

Use this drill everyday, its built to last and is light and nice to use. A powerful little tool and packs and punch in hammer mode.

Quality tools, sturdy, easy to use and great value for money, we don't use anything else, interlocking boxes are very useful

I used to use Makita drills and have had many good ones along the way. That's before I started using Dewalt drills and I have had these now it seems likes ages. It never misses a beat for any work I do. Can't think of a better drill.

Had this drill a few years now. Was properly one of the cheapest around at the time but by far best drill owned . Never skipped a beat once it's been dropped off scaffolding ladders down stairs and still going

Very good bit of kit. Good with the interchangeable batteries only issue i find is the chuck lets go of the drill bits quite often. However it did drill a 28mm core hole when power was off

I have this similar unit but not brushless feels nice and weighted torch is in a great spot handles everything I throw at it nice drill for the money

This drill is robust, metal shank and great torque from a battery. The drill has a hook for easy carriage or storage while on a ladder. It has a magnetic strip on the side to hold screws and fits most DeWalt batteries

Purchased this drill from my local screw fix after my previous drill (makita) broke. It was on offer for £99.99 with carry case and two battery's. I can honestly say it's a fantastic drill, that is used on a daily basis in my like of work! I especially like the clip so you can securely attach the drill to you allowing to have free hands to climb ladders etc. I really can't grumble
