I’m a firm believer that everyone can make use of a multi tool and if they think they don’t need one, they have never used one.
It’s not a finesse tool by any means. But it’ll get you out of a spot of trouble or it’ll provide you with a quicker means of doing an awkward job.
The dewalt cordless multi tool is the best version of this I have found. With the many attachments usually included at point of sale, sander, dust extraction adaptation and also a depth stop. With the quick release blade system being truely quick release and the work light. Make it a joy to use.
The variable trigger and ability to lock it in either on or off positions give it the use ability of the switch and safety also while being adaptable speed for a slightly more delicate use.

This has been such a useful tool! Initially bought for cutting floorboards, it has been used for so much more and saved me so much time. Really easy to switch blades which seem to last a while. Have yet to use functions such as sanding but those must be as brilliant as cutting.
