Comes with a seven-year warranty which is great, rechargeable for USB C, handy as most of us have them cables and plugs already and you know how easy it is to lose track of all the different types of cables these products tend to have, but USB-C seems to be the new standard.. A Nice added feature is that its got UV on it. There's a hook which is handy if you need to be hands free and there's a magnet which helps it stand up well and stick to boilers, also handy is its quite small so can use the magnet to keep it somewhere safe. Rotates completely around which is great, I've actually used it to help me repair the van with the magnet and the hook. It's quite thin, so it does actually get into the places you need to get it into. when you choose your setting, if you hold it down, it does go through the different tones of colour from a warm white or cold white, sometimes you need to change between the two, depends on the room. I highly rate it, it's very light too but isn’t shoddy, it still feels robust. The one drawback is it doesn't show you the charge while you are using it, only when you're plugging it in which can be annoying if you need to be using it all day. It does have a sticker at the top to say that it gets warm. It did get warm when it was charging, but it wasn't hot. So not exactly dangerous. All in all really, really nice tool. I like it a lot and ill be using it some more.

I like that It's not heavy. You know it's there but it's not heavy, it feels quality and robust but without feeling clunky and being massive. It fits nice and easy in the pocket and you can forget its there which is great, nothing more annoying when you’re crawling around than having a massive torch in your pocket. The hook is quite sturdy, it's not one of the flimsy little things that break off easily.. It’s also magnetic. You can stick it anywhere and it’ll stay whilst you’re shining the light, great if youve got nothing to hang it on to. Gettingt to the bones of the torch. It’s got a low power and high power setting. The lower power setting is pretty much more than enough for me. The high setting just gives you that extra bit of coverage. Theres also a UV but ill probably not use that as im a ground worker. Its a simple little tool to use. Nice and flexible neck on it, doesn't feel like it's going to snap on the first twist. Also rotates round a full rotation which is handy. So if you are hanging it up, or you stand it up somewhere, your all good. The size of it is good because working in a roof space is working around trusses, and we’re working around chimney breasts, and tight areas. The torch is small enough that it fits into any gap you want it to and can spin to reach where you want it to reach. Again, its quite light, not too bulky, compacts right down. Main thing is that it's just an easy tool to use and that's what we want in the trade. So we'll crack on using them. Rate it

All right, guys. Dan from Verified Build . We've been given a couple of LED Ledlenser lights to try it out. This one here is the W7R Work Inspection Lamp. So, straight away we look at the box, it's giving us a bit of information on the side. So, we've got a UV light, it looks like it's got a little flood light baton, it opens up 180 degrees and turns 270. It's got a hook for hanging, and it's got a magnet. And looking at this bottom picture here it shows it got a display for power. So, we've opened the box, as we lay it down here.
So, as you can see there's the torch itself, we've got some bit of few instructions, warranty card, seven years warranty. That's cool. What's this? Safety instructions, don't stick it down your throat. We've got a little bit of a voucher discount for future purposes. And the charger lead. So, first of all, get the torch out. It's not heavy. You know it's there but it's not heavy. Easy in the pocket, off you go. All right. So, first we'll look at the hook on it. Because it's sticking out at the moment here.
Nice, simple. It's quite sturdy as well, it's not one of the flimsy little things. So, we'll set it up and hang it on here, no bother. Want it to open up, it spins around, look. Working in the room, whatever, there you go. Okay. Also, magnetic. See if we got a beam there. There we go, look at that. No messing about. So, now we get to the bones of the torch. So, as I said before, USB-C charging port, that goes in the back there. And these are those four LEDs as shown on the picture. So we'll turn it on, straight away, lights up.
Got full power. And this is only on a low setting. I'm going to turn this light off. So, you see that's a low setting, that's on the high setting. Yeah. There's also, it says on here, there's UV. So, I don't know where I'd use that, ground worker. But, no. Simple little tool to use. Nice and flexible neck on it, doesn't feel like it's going to snap on the first twist. Also rotates round, look. It's a full rotation. So if you are hanging it up, or you stand it up somewhere, I'm guessing like that, you're all good. So we'll put it to work and see how we get on.
We've just been testing out the Ledlensers, so the first one that I got to test out was the W7R Inspection Lamp. Well, I think we'll call this the daddy. And Morgan's been up in the roofs base and he's testing out the little brother. So, here's the 7, it's the one with the rotatable light. And let's see how he's getting on. Morgan, getting on, mate?
Yeah.
How you getting on?
Brilliant.
You're blinding me with that light. It's bright enough, isn't it?
It is indeed.
Right. I'll pass the camera up, you can show everyone what it's been doing.
Yep. Here we have it, before the light. Super dark. But, with the Ledlenser lights, this is how it looks. Super bright, I was not expecting it to be as bright as the daddy. But it is the exact same. 10 out of 10 for me. Here you go, Dan.
Nice one. So, it doesn't really matter, he's been working in a massive area next door, which were about three times longer than the rooms we've been working in, just. And that's why we use this one. Thought, "You know what? See how it goes." And we thought, "All right, we'll use the small one in there. Is it going to cope with it?" And it's coped quite well.
So, both products great. And as I say, that small one quite handy. Just pop it in his pocket when he's moving from area to area. Because working in a roof space is working around trusses, he's working around chimney breasts, and tight areas. So at some point you have to put it down or pop it in his pocket if he can see what he's doing. But he's managed up there no problem.
So, we're rating these products quite well. Again, quite light, not too bulky, compacts right down. That's the 7. The stick, again, in your pocket. Not else more to say, it's just an easy tool to use. And that's what we want in the trade. So, we'll crack on using them. And, there's plenty more to do, look under floor boards and bits and pieces. So, we'll try and get you some more updates. But, no. Rate them. Thank you very much.
Hi, this is Andy Bennett from Bennett Safe Gas. I'd like to thank Tool Talk for sending me out this. This is Ledlenser and this is the W7R Work Inspection Lamp. Comes with a seven year warranty, rechargeable for USB C, which is the new normal. Nice little added feature, this one's got UV on it. Just going to open and have a quick look. Okay. Instruction book. There's the USB cable, USB C to C. So most of us have got plugs like that nowadays. And this is the tool here. You charge just on the top, there's a hook, there's a magnet, obviously stands up as well. Yeah. Turns around. Yeah.
Rotates completely around. Yeah. So I'll have a go at this and then I'll come back. Okay. So I've been using the Ledlenser for a couple of days now. In fact, I've actually used it to help me repair the van with the magnet and the hook. It's quite good. And the end of it, this is it now, is quite thin, so it does actually get into those places. Let's just show you, that's setting one, setting two and the next one is UV.
Yeah, it's a nice little tool, very thin, spins around, also when you choose your setting, if you hold it down, it does go through the different tones of colour from a warm white or cold white. I think you can have a neutral. Yeah, it's very nice. I highly rate it actually, it's very light. The one drawback is, there is on the back here, lights to show its charge. However, it doesn't show you the charge while you are using it. Only when you're plugging it in. This is the USB charging port, there. I haven't read the instructions fully because I'm rubbish like that. So I don't know if it's water resistant or waterproof or anything like that. Since I'm a heating engineer and plumber, it's going to get wet. It does have a sticker at the top to say that it gets warm. It did get warm, but it wasn't hot. So not exactly dangerous. All in all really, really nice tool. I like it a lot. Thank you Tool Talk and thank you Ledlenser for letting me use it.
