One of the best tools to have in your tool bag, use it for a multitude of applications great for ripping down tongues in flooring and the quick blade change is a must

Great multi tool I use it almost every day and have replaced my pad saw when cutting out drylining boxes.
I found it heavy when first using but after a few times using it got used to it. Build quality is good and the quick release blade mech is very convenient though you have to be careful when the pin holding the blade drops out. It does go through battery charge pretty quick on my 5ah

It’s a well made piece of kit. I use it daily.
It’s only real downside is the quick release catch, can be a awkward to clasp the blades first time. I’m quite often having to refit the blade two or three times before it grips fully.
That said once fitted correctly it works a treat.
NB make sure you keep plenty of spare blades, these multi tools tend to eat them

This is one of those tools that you don’t know you need until you have one. There are the Swiss Army knife of tools. And this is propped kit. Also the battery 18v version is also in my tool bag. Very good kit at reasonable prices.

I was a bit unsure on multi tools at fist but after using a workmates many times, this is a brilliant multi tool. It has a good amount of power to it and just makes life so much easier. A tool like this would be handy in many different construction roles.

I have a multitool from Makita. All my tools well 80% of my tools are Makita. Multi-tools are a great asset to your collection of tools. He can do multiple tasks and gets you out of trouble sometimes where you can’t get into with other tools. Obviously cut wood metal plastic very impressed by the multitool. Not sure how people actually got on in life without Power tools before they came out must’ve been a very big struggle highly recommend this product. Thanks

This has been incredibly handy. Wish I'd bought one years ago. Seems powerful and well made with little vibration. Buy a supply of blades in advance from Amazon as local shops are a rip off. Consider getting a battery powered one as it's quite a faff getting the extension lead out for a quick job! The power cord is long but a pain to get back into the case

Once you've got one you'll wonder how you managed without. Fantastic for making precise or awkward cuts easy. The toolless blade change is great. I also have the 18v for smaller jobs but it's a bit thirsty on batteries so use this for heavier work.

Recently brought one of these to use for finishing off a bathroom that has a lot of natural wood in it so sort some finer details was actually really surprised at how well it worked and the adjustability of it. I know the brand well so knew it wouldn’t disappoint but it was much better than I expected and actually used it for a few jobs

Top quality tool, once purchased you won't know how you've worked without 1. light weight tool nice a compact with good punch. These have the capabilities to neatly cut through most surfaces in tricky spaces. Would highly recommend 10/10.

I have the brushless version and is a well used tool. The amount of times this has got me out of the stink is amazing. Only issue is that the Alan key will be lost within 5 minutes and sometimes the blade will come loose over time

Looking to upgrade current (old and corded) multi tool (handy me down Bosch pro). Considering either dewalt or makita (2 brands I know and trust). Have batteries for both. Trade as a carpenter primarily, but often asked to multi task. Your pros and cons of either brand or suggestion for another make Milwaukee etc)?
