Nice little drill to use and plenty of power, not too heavy and well balanced,
Comes with a nice little carry case also.
Would recommend for fitting kitchen units or that sort of work

The best small drill I have owned, granted I had a small Makita before.

A good weight in the hand, very powerful and works well as a hammer.

The battery lasts well.

Just a couple of problems.

The chuck will come loose when using it in hammer mode and sometimes when using in normal mode.

The brake - over tighten protection is pants, do not rely on it.

Hi, this is Andy Bennett from Bennett's Safe Gas on behalf of Expert Trades.

Today, I'm reviewing my old drill. This is the Milwaukee, it's the M12 version, and it's the BPD, whatever that means.

Yeah, it's a nice little drill. Has three major functions. Hammer, screwing, drilling. To be fair it's on drilling all the time. Two speed. Slow speed, fast speed. Comes with a hook. Hooking on your trousers when you're working on a ladder. I've used that endless amount of times. I've also dropped it an endless amount of times and it has survived. I don't recommend it.

It does get used and abused and it does keep on going. This is probably about four years old. It's doing very well. When I'm putting a plug in, I've turned it round, hammered it in. I don't treat my tools well. This is running off the four amp. I did buy it with the two amp, which is just round and just sits just there. And then this bit at the bottom's added on extra. They do easily pull out, like that.

It's a very nice drill. This is my bathroom, heating, everything drill. I use it for putting up the boilers. If I need a bit more grab, I'll use the rattler. My general tools are DeWalt. Everything I have is DeWalt because of the one battery fitting on.

I have used Makita in the past. Not super fond of Makita anymore, I'm afraid. They make a lot more choice of tools, but DeWalt seems to be better and the batteries seem to last a bit longer for me.

Back to this. Yeah, I use it on bathrooms, like I said. I use it to drill the profiles of cubicles. Screwing it up. You can hold it. For slower, it's got multiple speed, like that. There's a light on it. Also, the battery indicator on the side, if you push slightly, and I'll show you what the battery's like. Yeah, it's a nice little tool.
