Only one question not sure about, it came with 2 plastic looking cradles but no reason why they are there.

Does the job, well made and easy to use. Not found an occasion it’ll not work for yet. As long as you can access the pipe and nut you’ll be fine.
Leaves the pipe in good condition as long as the olive wasn’t over tightened.

It’s hard to imagine life without one of these in your tool bag, what an amazing product, fast and effectively removes both 15mm and 22mm olives from pipe work without damage. Extremely well built but you’d expect nothing less from Monumnet who have been making tools for the trade since 1880. In a hurry connect to a drill and wiz that olive off in milliseconds, love this product and highly recommend.

I bought one of these after a recommendation from another plumber. I've used it a couple of times and it's worked well, however if the olive is crimped on its not going to help you out. One downside is the lever bar is a bit weak and does start to bend, and the ruber end caps have fallen off over time.

Had one of these in my plumbing kit for a while now, although i used to use it pretty regular it now rarely gets used since purchasing olive cutters, it does still have its uses if for example the nut can not be pushed far enough back for the olive cutter to be used so a quick connection with this tool and job done, ideal with it covering both 15mm and 22mm. Still has its uses and i would still highly recommend.

What can is say Monument have created the Swiss army knife of olive pullers. As soon as I used it I grew a moustache and became a navy seal. The olive puller as it designed not just to remove 15mm olives but by adding the 22mm fitting it actually removes 22mm olives too!!!
Made with Brass Construction this removes olives easier than I can remove my Mrs Bra after a night on the p!ss
Gone are the days struggling my b*!!cks off trying ease or cut an olive off without damaging the pipe!! ! …..Gone are the days where my anger gets the best of me and I end in A&E with minor injuries scuffling with these little b@stards
Monument has thought of everything with this tool it works just fine with my right hand, and equally as good in my right hand J This little brass miracle requires No batteries so again wont interest my Mrs………Glad she is not on tool talk and please don’t tell her as I will end up living in tiny rundown apartment with neighbours that make crack heads seem like upstanding citizens and it will all be because of my love for the Monument olive plumber.
To sum it up a must have tool for any plumber / heating engineer or wannabe Navy seal

Hello everyone, Lee from iGas Heating Limited, just doing a tool talk review on behalf of Expert Trades and Monument Tools, today I'm going to be talking about the Monument Olive Puller. Obviously you go and change things like rad valves, I'm going to do a TRV now. It's got a horrible old brass nut on it, ancient olive. So I want to renew it with the new rad valve that's actually going on to the pipework. You can get olive splitters sometimes you can't always get them in. Or if the nut is too close to the pipe, you can't push the nut back far enough to actually expose the olive. So that's where this olive puller comes in. All in one unit it's 15mm and 22mm comes with a little Tommy bar. So you can turn it, but I find the best thing about it, in the updated version is actually got this hex connection, which goes straight in your sort of impact driver, if you like. So that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna show you it in action.
First of all this is a 22mm connection. This is a 15mm nut. So take the 22mm piece off, wind this bit down. So just to expose the pipe, that's what actually connects onto your nut yeah, so it's just a 15mm thread that goes on the end of a 15mm nut that is obviously behind your olive. I don't know if you can see that that's the actual olive puller connected to the nut that was on the red tail. So the olive is still in that nut. I've taken the tommy bar off. There's a hex connection on the top. Just going to place the camera down, because what you do need to do is when you're actually turning the drill or impact driver, just hold onto the nut.
Just like this and all you do is tighten it and that's your nut and olive off. Yeah. Nice clean pipe.Easy as that. Yeah. That's how easy it is to use. Overall i think this is a really good product, not expensive at all. I've got olive splitters if you like, the Monument ones that are like jaws. They're great. And they have their uses, but sometimes, like I say, you can't get the nut further back enough to actually get the cutters on there. So the next thing is the Monument puller, all made of brass, feels absolutely solid and yeah, really good product. Thanks for watching.
Hi. I'm Dave, from DCB Plumbing and Heating.
Today, I'm going to be reviewing the monument olive puller. This comes in 15 and 22 together as one. To use the 22 you would remove the top part, which goes into the pipe, which I'm going to show you in a couple of seconds on the 15 mil version. And all you would do with this particular version how we're going to use it today, is we're going to be using the 15 mil one. So, this section here is the same as what this section is for the 22 mil, for the 15 mil. So obviously it goes into the pipe like that. You pull it down, you pull the olive off.
So you twist it down so that it's all sat with the olive, you put the nut onto the olive, so that it's tight, and then literally you just twist it. You might not be able to tell, but it will in two seconds come off the pipe. There we are. Pipe undamaged, nut undamaged, and obviously a olive in the middle. Very simple, very easy to use. It can get stuck on some of the more tighter olives that possibly been there over a longer period of time, have been nipped too tight. In that case I would probably say use the olive cutters rather than the puller. But, with most brass nuts, or normal nuts that you get no a days, you'll find that it's not a problem.
If you are struggling, of course, there is an extra part to go in case you want to use it with your impact driver, or any kind of drill like that. Give you that extra force if needed, possibly on the 22 nuts. But a part from that its a superb little tool, always keep it to hand. It's always easy to use, and it stores quite neatly together, obviously in case you were close to a wall, you've got your moving spindale. Definitely a five star review for this one because it's a fantastic little tool. I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose using any kind of olives, or kind of plumbing work. It gets you into little tight spaces, and is most of the time, very very easy to use.
So I'm using Monument Olive Puller today, just going to put it in here, pull these olives off this
pipework. There we go, easy as that. Piece of cake. Different size there for a bigger pipe if you
need it, absolute brilliant tool. Soon whizzes it off, and back on again. Monument tool, got it
from Expert Trades.
