Morning Tool Talk, Chris from Minty Property Developments. Today I'm going to be reviewing the Monument, adjustable pipe cutter. Now these are fairly original, fairly old school version, but I've normally always got one in my kit as a backup. Thing with auto cuts like these, this is a 10mm version. Again Monument, if you're cutting pipe work with paint on, they can get a bit blocked up or the wheels can start seizing up and it'll start travelling down the pipe.
It's always good to have a backup, and this comes with an added deburrer on the top. So if you see there, bit of a chamfer on the inside of the pipe work, stick that in, give it a spin, and that gets rid of that little internal chamfer. It does up to, so it says 44mm, so 12 to 44mm, 28mm pipe, 35mm copper, and extend all the way out. The benefit of that is you've got one cutter instead of five down from 15 to 35mm. But yeah, it's always in the box, handy to have well made like all the Monument stuff. Again, changeable wheels and stuff like that. So plenty of spares if needs be.
