A bit disappointed with theses not that easy to use as handle gets in the way and the internal cleaner falls apart in no time external cleaner needs to be a lot more robust as struggles to clean old pipe

Once the brushes come loose they are difficult to use in the ratchet facility, the tube cleaning side is quite good though.
I had issues with the brush untwisting and falling out on the 22mm set, must admit Monument were very good and sent a replacement out with no quibbles

The internal pipe part falls apart. It's fairly easy to use but the handle just gets in the way. Great idea but it needs to be made a lot tougher. There are a lot of products that do the same job from very cheap to very expensive.

Although made from plastic mostly, it felt fairly solid and hard wearing. The first time I used the larger one, the pipe got stuck inside the tool and it's still stuck in now. It is wedged solid. Great in the sense that it does everything you need in one tool and not expensive for what it does.

I've used these monument pipe cleaning tools for years, they cheap and last for ages, it's well built and easy to use, it even removes paint quite easy.

Great build and the arm is nice. Stick it on and crank away it will leave the copper pipe nice and clean. Strong brush takes off paint no problem. Cheap and it lasts.

Solid build quality, easy to use. As we press and don't solder we've been using the product to remove paint from existing pipes. No issues so far. Reasonably priced product.

Great build quality, cleans the pipe up great and the bristles are tough enough to last a long time. The ratchet is very good and helps a lot in tight spaces. Ratchet works well, cleaning bristles are of good quality. Helps me out in tight situations but I would buy cleaning strip for everyday use.

Solid bit of kit, at first I thought it would be flimsy but it grips the pipe perfectly. Really easy to use and cleans pipe up very well. Brill for cleaning the end of the pipe. Does what it is expected to do with a good result.

Very sturdy and robust and must confess I have dropped mine on more than one occasion from a decent height. The brush at the end does tend to stick in your hand if you need to give it a shove on to the pipe even when wearing gloves. Once on the pipe cleans very well even over paint and in tight spots against walls and in between other pipes. 2 for 1 with the fitting cleaner attached.

At last an ergonomic way to tidy a pipe cut that does the job and is not tacky and will give good service. A well designed piece of kit. There are a lot of inferior kits out there, this is not one of them. Monument Tools price their tools sensitively to make it accessible to the average engineer, too many companies know if their products are useful they can take advantage.

The 22mm fitting brush disintegrated on the first fitting. Leaving all the steel wire inside fitting. The 15mm one is spot on. I have a replacement 22mm one but haven't used it yet. Very easy to use. The ratchet feature is good for tight spaces. Cleans pipe externally and fittings internally before soldering. Good value for money and worth the investment.

Does a decent job but a bit bulky and 2 sizes means 2 tools rather than a combined unit. Ratchet unnecessary as it's too bulky to get into tight spaces. Simple enough to use though. Does a good job of cleaning pipe and inside of fittings. Not an expensive tool to have in your armoury.

Love them, some say it's not needed but I disagree. So useful. The ratchet comes into its own on fixed pipe e.g. when swapping out a boiler. Once you get used to it it's simple. Really useful ratchet system enabling quick cleaning of pipe and fittings. I do think the price may be off putting. Now I have used them I would happily pay £20/£25 but if I had never tried them maybe not.

Easy to use, well built, the ratchet makes cleaning pipes easy. Stays tight to the pipe and cleans really fast. Good value for money for the time saved.

Wasn't sure on these bushed as they looked bulk and awkward but have been using them for the last few days.
Their surprisingly easy to use and with the ratchet mechanism you can working in a tight space too clean the pipe. Easily removed most paint of pipes. However if it had a few coats it needed a little help. My only gripe was they didn't clean deep enough for some fitting in some cases
