Rothenberger Pipe Bender

Rothenberger pipe bender. I used to own these before a tea leaf borrowed them from my van. I've cheap ones but I'll be buying these again when I can afford some. Highly recommended

Lovely set of pipe benders.
The rubber feet do have a tendency of falling off over time, but so do all the others. Fairly heavy set of benders but I prefer them that way.

Essential bit of kit for any plumber to own. This one is reasonably lightweight compared to some others out there. I personally like the strap attachment to house the slides

A heavy and unwieldy set of benders. The rollers have a tendency to come loose and fall off in the van. There is a lot of play on the pipe grip, and if not located just right puts a dent in the pipe.

Had an issue with some wrinkling on 22mm but a good clean and some scotchbrite sorted that issue.

These benders are not a scratch on a pair of Hilmors or bend it now benders, don’t waste your money rothenberger are not what they use to be.

love these benders only brand i have as its what i enjoy using. i have tried the others but they dont seem to come close in terms or ease of use.

I have had these benders since i was an apprentice 12 years ago and they are still going strong. They have rippled some bends but with a bit of a clean they work perfectly again!

Perfect bending machine for 15 and 22mm pipework always given clean bends where as other benders I have seen have rippled the pipe also compact pipe formers.

I like this bit of kit, its fairly priced and does what it meant to do, I have to be honest and say I got this last minute and if I had a choice at the time I would have passed and looked into getting a different set, but saying that they do what they are meant to do

I managed to get this at a reasonable price. Great bender but first time out the box and it left a dent in my pipe so I have to file the guides as a slight mismold had occurred. Writing falls off in no time but this doesn't affect the use. Angles engraved on the bend helps for quick bending of pipe.

Got a pair given to me (from another plumber). When i started my apprenticeship 16 years ago. STILL got them! needed to source replacement guides, service the arms, but still bend well!

I started using this pipe bender from when I first started as an apprentice and when I got enough money I finally brought myself one and have never looked back I have it it for many years and although it no longer looks new it still performs just as good as day one and I still have both the original formers for it too

A life long piece of kit, this is a great tool designed for the user and to do a job as well. It is lighter and seems to stay intact throughout the rigours of work and abuse.

Needed a robust bender after my cheapo one died in the middle of a job. Yes it's not cheap but the quality justifies this. Love the pouch to store the formers in too. Quality item as normal from Rothenberger.

Not bad benders. Don't use often but they do the job. My hilmors were easier to use but these are good enough for the light use they get.

Had always used use in in the past but needed a new set and this was all that was in stock. Now get the occasional dent in my pipe when being 22mm making the bend useless

Not a bad set of benders buy not overly impressed either, not a's good as irwin equivalent in my opinion.

Appalling bit of kit, look nice but that’s as good as it gets.
Really stiff and just seem more fiddly than the Irwin.

Was ok to begin with didnt last long before going really stiff wouldn't recommend to others would stick to hilmor

Not worth the money really not a fan at all use to make really good tools but seems all the stuff and now cheaply made, the bends kink pipe all the time and they was brand new with good quilty copper

I used a mates set yesterday when doing a plant room, they weren't bad, but not to my normal standards of my hilmor benders, but to be honest the standard of pipe lately is shocking, I tried a few benders recently and on big bends the pipe ripples on all of them.

These aren't great to be honest, I got a set to replace my really old Hilmors and tonsay they are brand new they are of less quality than my old Hilmors. I've been told to get bend it nows

The rothenberger benders are the worst I've ever had!

TBf the whole range of tools aren't what they used to be!

I hate my rothenberger bender had it 3 years and stopped using it after about 2 weeks
Got me a bend it know and it's great

Had these benders for a few years, they do what they are meant to do as long as you keep them maintained they should be ok for years

They do the job. Never had any other benders to compare. There easy to use and I've had no problems. Very happy with them

Good benders but have rippled the pipe from new from time to time despite cleaning and greasing. Not sure I can blame this on the benders though as copper isn't the quality it used to be.

These were my first set of benders I still have them and at 18st I can use them with ease. They pull a good bend and have rarely ripple the pipe. Allows for good control and tight bending. The problem comes when I hand them to my 12st apprentice he has to put them on the floor and lift himself to bend 22mm so he bought his own set from what shop £20... they are heavier and have slightly longer handles and I hate to admit it but they are easier to use than mine by miles.

Had a set of these for many years lasted really well but upgraded to Irwin after these took a battening over the years can't fault them but can't fault the Irwin ones either

Have had mine for 7 years now.

Really good benders, comfortable to use and give consistently good bends.

They do ripple occasionally but yoi just have to give an oil and tighten up some of the bolts to solve this, but that's just a general house keeping issue caused by wear and tear rather than being a fault of the product.

Look after your tools and your tools will look after you!

Lasted me three years before they started to ripple the pipe. Gave them a good clean and still rippling

These have lasted longer than any other pipe bender I've ever had. Use them everyday. They have recently started rippling the pipe but I think it's because they need a good clean. Would highly recommend and by now I would have usually lost and replaced the guide but it's hand having the little bag
