I won this set from #sparkygames a brilliant set that I use all the time now. Nice and compact the only issue I have is that at times the locking devise can come unlocked while your screwing. It's only a minor point but can be annoying

Having a set with the stubby handle comes in useful. The bits themselves are very thin and can get into holes larger vde screwdrivers can not. I don't use the case and find I can bits and handles in a very small tool bag.

I had the wera interchangable set in the past and snapped a couple of bits, but have now used the wiha blades on several challenging applications and had no issues at all. The handles are nice and comfortable to hold, the stubby is a big bonus, and the case they came in is robust.Very easy to use, the only issue I sometimes find is difficulty removing the blades from the handle. I have taken to spraying a little wd40 into the handle and this has helped. Not really much more can be said. Has pretty much all the blades I need, in a sturdy construction. The stubby makes this set for me, and the fact that they are compatible with my speed e makes them a great part of my tool kit. Especially on call outs when I don’t want to get the whole tool kit out.I paid just under £60 for the set, which for 18 VDE drivers is a great price, especially with 2 handles. That coupled with the good build quality makes them a winner!!

The first impression of this set is excellent, the pouch is well made and strong, the blades and handle are strong well organised.
The handle has went though a few different methods of holding the bits, all of which have their pros and cons. The latest design is by far the most user friendly. The bits supplied are perfect for most jobs and leave you only needing to carry a small set all day long.
The pouch will hold either a second handle or speede making it even more versatile.
The overall use is simple and straightforward with everything extemely well organised. The general build and variety in the set make it one of the best I have used, naturally some parts will get lost or work over time but not prematurely.
The pouch is an excellent way to carry the driver(s) and bits and strong enough for any tool bag
Personally I have found all parts to last and easy to replace blades when needed. For the money, there are a lot of different bits included, way more than any screwdriver set for the same price. Personally I am on my second set, not because of any damage or wear making the set unusable but because I have lost or wore out individual bits and it works out cheaper to buy this set than replace the bits individually.

Build quality is second to none.Whenever I reach for this tool I know it won't let me down. I have had several similar tools over the years and invariably they have snapped.Fantastic assortment of driver bits with the added option of always more available if required.Great roll up tool caddy to keep everything together. In my opinion, in over 20 years in the electrical industry you absolutely get what you pay for. If you use cheap tools they will always at some point let you down. There are alternatives to Wiha out there but to get the same reliability and build quality you would need to spend significantly more to match them.

I haven't got the full set (yet) because quite frankly I wouldn't use many of the bits. But the stubby, which comes with three useful bits (slot, pozzi and phillips) is great to have around when getting into those tight spots. It complements the other Wiha 'normal'size slimvario screwdrivers and bits. Spare bits are available too.

Have had this pouch for a good few months now. It was originally meant to sit in the car as a call out/weekend one for all tool. It’s become part of my everyday tools, So much so that I’ve bought another! I did have a different brand of vde stubbys but they haven’t been as useful as they’re not as versatile and a little bit longer!
I find the pouch electric is wearing out so the bits are slipping out into my pocket while the pouch is in it. I would also like some of the slimmer flat heads to have a girthier metal shaft before the insulation as they can be bent quite easily, one also slipped when using to remove an old cable in a socket outlet and cut away at the insulation around the shouder of the flat blade. However I think it’s overall a good kit to have, but take note of the max torque on the blades before misusing. I think I’m going to have to buy the big pouch to house all my handles and blades without the blades dropping off into my pocket but that‘a my only gripe!

really nice kit, it has got a good range of bits, the grip on both the long handled and the stumpy handle are really impressive, only downfall with it is the storage case, personally i would have preferred a hard case with a clip as the bits get caught up in the velcro and i think in time the velcro will wear and end up being a fold up wallet.

They're OK, but not great. Lots of different bits for every possible job, but poor quality in comparison to my Wera set. To keep the bits lightweight and thin, they're made out of metal covered plastic and easily snap when tightening or loosening screws. To be fair, Wiha did replace the first one I snapped, but I've not claimed on the others and have consigned this set to my DIY rather than professional toolbox.

Very happy with this screwdriver set, the handle feels lightweight and comfortable to hold. The bits on mine don't lock into the handle, but they seem to be held in very securely. So that isn't an issue.
The stubby handle is a nice bonus feature for the kit, which I'm sure won't get used as much as the regular handle but it will have its day.
Build quality of the whole kit, including the pouch is very high.
With so many different bit types in one pouch, you will always have the correct bit for the job.

I Have never bought Wiha tools before have always used Wera. The build quality is excellent as you would expect form a German manufacturer. An additional benefit would be to have the tips magnetic this is maybe not possible as it would break the electrical insulation. Ps would be nice to have that question answered. Overall very happy with the purchase will certainly consider there tools in the future.

I have to say that the quality of the screwdrivers and bits are great. All push in nice and tight no chance of falling out of the handles. Every size of bit you could ask for in one set. Lovely soft handles. Easily get into those hard to reach places. The only negative I have found is that the pouch with the stubby handle in place is very hard to close and becomes rather bulky. In my opinion there should be a strap holder for the stubby handle above the bits this way the pouch shuts easier and is only bulky on one end. That said a great set for anyone in the trade.

Hi. Dan here from SIA Property Services just doing a quick review on the Wiha Screwdriver Roll Set. Packaging-wise, you've got everything in there - stubby, long handle, everything you ... PZD-2s, your PZD-2 slotted for the consumer units, allen keys, torques, everything you need really, in one little set, which is really handy going to a job. I only need to take that, tester, and a pair of snips and I'm away. Saves me dragging my whole toolbox in. I'm sure you all do it -- big tool bag just for two screwdrivers. So, yeah, handy to keep in front of the van for them little jobs on the way home and stuff like that.
Yeah, everything about it, it's Wiha. If you've used Wiha products before, you know what you're getting.
Long-handled driver. This little spinny bit at the top. I messed about a little bit thinking it was locking the bit in place. It doesn't. It just spins. No apparent functionality to it. Not a problem. Doesn't irritate me, just kind of doesn't seem to do anything. Not really necessary
Stubby driver. All tight spaces, comes in really handy as you well know. Who's to say about that. It's a stubby driver.
The packaging. These little elastic bits, they're a little bit tight. It can be a little bit of a pain to get the bits in and out for, yeah, I think over time and use, they'll loosen up a little bit and become a little bit less irritating.
On the whole, it's a really good product. I really like it. It's one of the first tools out of the van because it's all them tools out of the van in one hit. So, yeah, thanks to them at Expert Trades for sending them out, and have a good day.
Alright, guys, this is my review on the Wiha screwdriver kit. To be honest, normally, I'm a Wera man. I do love Wera. But I have changed all my standard drivers over to the Wiha since having this because I'm really preferring the handle on that grip. I just really like it.
I really like this one because once locked in, you can use the locking ring to help you drive those faster, a bit quicker as it free spins in there. The anti-roll feature is brilliant, with the two flats on it stopping it. As well, if you've noticed, every tip is also marked up. Maximum Newton metres each bit can tack on the end before the bit fails and snaps.
Apart from that, really good set. Good bit selection. Wera do no offer any hex bits in their sets, and this comes with three, which was really happy because you use hex bits a lot. The only thing, to be honest, I can say Wera made any better than the Wiha one, was I do prefer their case, but then again, not everybody really has read the page. So, doesn't get the job done as the tools do.
So yeah, definitely for me. I look forward to using more of the Wiha stuff in the future. Thanks, guys.
Hi, guys. Just thought I'd do a quick little video after using my new Wiha set for the first time. Customer wouldn't let me film inside the house. Don't know why.
So, obviously inside, you've got two handles. Normal size, with a lock bit, which is really handy. Locks all the bits in the end of it. Then you've got your little stubby, which is quite handy for getting under places. That doesn't have a lock on it, but, you know ... I'd like to see one on there, but that's not really a big deal, I don't think.
About the set, well, you've got all your different bits you're gonna need in there, I imagine. I've taken that boiler apart basically with everything that's in here. You've got your flatheads. You've got some Allen keys. You've got your Phillips. You've got your stars, as well.
Really good set, I think, for the price of it. Little bit tricky sometimes, getting them back in there, but if you go with the points first, it seems to go in okay. Case is good. Quite small, compact set. Take this in, multimedia, gas gauge, maybe a pair of grips and a little adjustable, and that's probably about it. All in all, well-chuffed with it.
Thanks, guys. Speak to you soon.
What's happening guys? My name's Jamie. I'm from a company called Hydro Heat and today's Tool Talk review is the Wiha Screwdriver Set. The infamous Wiha Screwdriver Set.
Very popular, I've heard, and I can see why. Really, really good. Really happy with it. As you can see, I'm not in my work clothes at the moment. It's a Sunday, but I had a phone call from a customer. They said they were having a little trouble with their boiler as I was passing by, and I went in with just this. And I went and fixed their boiler. It was really handy for that.
If you open up, it's got every screwdriver that I can really think of needing all in one place. Big flatheads, small stars, Pozis, Phillips, you name it, it's here. Let's just get this out.
Okay, so first impressions when I first started using it is the grip's really nice. Get a really good grip on there, get some torque behind it for them awkward screws that are really tough to get out. It's got pretty decent grip. I've heard some of these actually locks in place. Mine doesn't, so I'm not too sure what's going on there. It's still reasonably good you know, I say reasonably, it's not coming out unless you give it a good pull. Whether that over time might start giving way and start dropping out, I don't know. It looks like it's just a rubber O ring inside that's holding it in. Nice and easy to get in, stays in there, nice and easy to get out. This was the bit that did my head in a little bit.
It is also well organised. You're gonna have to keep on top of your system on how they go back in place. Otherwise, you're just gonna end up in a mess. The thing was for me, it's probably gonna work first time for me now, but to get it back in was a bit awkward to start with. But the more I've been using it, the more I've realised how to do it. You just gotta take your time really and be a bit patient.
Really good set, really happy with it. I could imagine if you've got lots of different types of screws that you need to take out, it would get a little bit annoying to swap the heads over, but typically you've got a Ps head 2 and a flathead screwdriver that you need to worry about with most boilers. So for a boiler engineer like I said, perfect for today. I've just gone in with a screwdriver set and got it fixed, so it worked really well for me.
I don't wanna go on too long and this be video five minutes, so I'm gonna leave it at that. Wiha Set, really happy with it. Hope you enjoyed that video guys. Thanks a lot. Bye, bye.

Does anyone know if you can buy single replacement bits for these? I've only seen them in boxes of 6.

Draper are now selling the blades individually you can get them on Amazon and I think some eBay stores are starting to sell them. Think from memory the individual blades are about £1.99.
