Increases your efficiency : The specialist with 120x greater lifespan* thanks to optimised bit for T-shaped screws(*compared to Wiha standard bit)
Until now, when buying bits it hasn't been very easy to determine which bits are suitable for which applications. Wiha puts an end to this complexity of considering the appliance used, the fastening type and the large selection of different bits. Thanks to Wiha's revolutionary bit concept, only the screw shape is the deciding factor when selecting the right bit.For example, the T-bit is ideal for fastening T-shaped screws with an angle of 90° between the thread and screw head. Thanks to its patented torsion zone, the bit is also suitable for power tools and impact screwdrivers and guarantees a 120x greater lifespan compared to Wiha standard bits. The coloured bits are also quick and easy to find, even in the dark by using an UV light, thanks to its fluorescent coating. This reduces the number of bits which are lost and saves on the expense of acquiring new ones. The bits, including the bit holder, are neatly stored away in the FlipSelector, making it easy to remove bits quickly.
Application: Suitable for fastening T-shaped screws. Also suitable for power tools and impact screwdrivers

I thought the blue Wiha bits were just for a lower grade, bog-standard use, but apparently these are meant to be specially made for screws or bolts with big blocky tops head screws. Supposedly these are made to fit into the bolt tops and spread the load, rather than be used with normal screws, but they look pretty much the same as other driver bits. Good selection of Phillips, Pozi, and various star security bits.

I was fortunate enough to win a box of 5 Wiha pz2 T-Bits from an Expert Trades prize draw.
Upon opening the box, I was surprised to see only 4 bits in there. Not a good start!
As it happened, I was at the time boarding out a new floor, so was able to put them to the test straight away.
I was fixing down caberdeck boards with 5 x 60mm Goldscrews from screwfix, using my milwaukee m18 impact driver.
Having changed the bit to the Wiha ones, I was only a few screws in when the bit shattered driving the screw in.
I replaced it, a few more screws and it happened again.
It does state on the box that these bits are both "impact perfect" , and have a lifespan 120 x that of a standard 25mm pz2 bit.
Not so in my experience. I completed the job with the same 25mm pz2 Erbauer impact bit I had started it with, no breakages!
Poor and not fit for purpose in my opinion, I do not recommend these bits. Definitely no "Maxx performance"

prices match quality. I use torque very often and these are good strong bits which last... a lot aren't worth the time of day but these do the trick
