Wiha Y-Bit Range

Until now, when buying bits it hasn't been very easy to determine which bits are suitable for which applications. Wiha puts an end to this complexity of considering the appliance used, the fastening type and the large selection of different bits. Thanks to Wiha's revolutionary bit concept, only the screw shape is the deciding factor when selecting the right bit.For example, the Y-bit is ideal for fastening Y-shaped screws with an angle not equal to 90° between the thread and screw head. Thanks to its patented torsion zone, the bit is also suitable for power tools and impact screwdrivers and guarantees a 120x greater lifespan compared to Wiha standard bits. The coloured bits are also quick and easy to find, even in the dark by using an UV light, thanks to its fluorescent coating. This reduces the number of bits which are lost and saves on the expense of acquiring new ones.

Review for Wiha Y-Bit Range by Direct Developments and Maintenance Ltd

I have to say I'm really disappointed with all the wiha screwdrivers, all my terminal screwdrivers keep snapping, used these for years but last 12 months they keep snapping, Very disappointed as they are not cheap

Site fortress safety shoe. Overall review after appropriately 11 months of wear. This shoe eliminates the need for constant replacement boots due to the additional rubberised toe cap area that as any workman will tell you wears through after afew months from constant kneeling. Great value for money and even added an insole for additional comfort. Bargain price from Screwfix for £38. Would recommend these over any standard DeWalt boots. Toe cap feature prevents buying new boots every 4 months.

I only purchased this unit as I had the batteries already and didn’t want to buy another Bosch hammer drill. Breezes through most materials and is and a great bit of kit. As with all Milwaukee it can seem expensive but it is definitely worth the money.

Great drill and reasonably priced if you can find it somewhere on offer. As with all Milwaukee tools it is built to last. Great as a multipurpose drill but does struggle if using in place of a Sds drill occasionally. Same as the driver , great for most materials but can struggle when trying to drive self tappers into thicker metals. As a one drill does all it’s a great bit of kit. I use it for my tool bag if I’m going to quick jobs that don’t require more heavy duty kit
