Zircon StudSensor™ e50
The StudSensor™ e50 quickly and easily locates the edges of wood and metal studs and joists behind walls, floors, and ceilings. Its easy-to-read display screen indicates stud edges, the patented SpotLite® Pointer shines a beam of light on the wall to identify the target, and WireWarning® detection indicates the presence of live AC voltage. Its new patent-pending pinch grip and contoured shape provide an easy, secure hold in either hand, at any angle.
Locates the edges of wood or metal studs up to 3/4 inch (19 mm) deep
DeepScan® mode doubles the scanning depth to 1 1/2 inches (38 mm)
Easy-to-read LCD display indicates when a stud edge is approached
Updated SpotLite® Pointer shines an arrow-shaped light on the wall to mark the target
WireWarning® detection indicates the presence of live, unshielded electrical wiring up to 2 inches (51 mm) deep
Should scanning begin over a stud, Zircon's patented "over-the-stud" indication alerts the user to start the scan in a new location

Never really gotten along with it, possibly user error but it’s not been all that useful, false positive results often.
Fair bit of money for the little use we’ve had out of it. Stuck it in the van and never taken it out again beyond the first few uses.

This product performs really well for what it is. However there are some better products out there with better features however it does what it says in the tin.

Have had a long time. Not one of the cheapest but I find that it works every time. Like the way the arrow is formed to show the location of pipe etc which you find by moving from c both sides and marking each ppin then make sure you drill outside your two lines

Quite accurate once you get used to it. I always use it to spot electrical cables before drilling holes. Would recommend this one although i haven't tried different ones

Bought for fastening projectors to ceilings. Very accurate once you've mastered it. Good value, great features and does what it says on the tin!

I have tried quite a few stud finders with mixed results. I had one that wouldn't find a stud that I knew was there! The Zircon is the best I have tried and is very reliable.
