Good paint line & most of the products are good but even with a trade account prices can be a joke sometimes. Not sure if it is my local shops but sometimes retail can get better prices than someone who uses it all the time? Does not make sense.

Johnstones paint has such a great variety of colours and also covers really well on new plaster when first coat is thinned down a litte bit to help to stop the main coats drying to fast

I’ve used many paints over the years from the very expensive to the rubbish but Johnstone’s is one I keep going back to , it’s usually the right price and usually very good , the only one I don’t like is the water based gloss, but again I’m not sure anyone makes a good water based gloss? Can any one suggest one?
