Ryobi

I have a wide range of Ryobi one-plus tools, including drills, impact driver, reciprocating saw, circular saw, router, nail guns, planer, sanders etc. and they are great. All use the same battery and work great. They had survived the abuse of multiple house restorations and also my real work on site. The fact that they didn’t change battery interface when going from NiCad to Li meant I didn’t have to get new tools which was a major saving and their range had grown and grown over the years. I expect to expand with a Ryobi equivalent to the Dremel and also get a glue gun and soldering iron. Only item they need to add is an autofeed screwdriver to make the range complete!

Great ranged of different products all from the one battery, ryobi might not be one of the big brands but there tools are definitely worth the money.

Good product range and all work off the same battery I have a few bits that are Ryobi and they do the job fine and there stuff is a lot cheaper than other leading brands of power tools

Ryobi is good quality product they always make the quality which you will like it the most it’s very powerful and l love to used it i mast say everyone must have it

A good quality brand that always delivers the very best of tools and accessories make sure to have a look at many of there products you won’t be disappointed

Never owned them myself but have used multiple tools across the range and have always been pleasantly surprised with the performance considering they are a budget tool brand, well built and gets the job done slick bosh

Ryobi tools are great for the DIY, could say for the serious DIY, cost wise would I say reasonable, not to cheap and not to expensive.
I would say that the ryobi router, could do with some additional features, but they will come eventually

Depending on what you use their tools for will depend on your own judgement for price, quality etc. You will score them high if your a gardener and use their garden tools which are great esp the petrol lawnmower which has a good collecting basket and easy to adjust leaver on the side to adjust height. It you are using their power tools best to leave them if your a pro as they are more suited to the home DIY category.

If you’re looking for professional tools don’t bother with these they’re okay for The handyman round the house who only picks his Jools up every 10 years other than that stay clear there are some people who swear by them but I don’t rate them they fall to bits within weeks…!

Ryobi tools are good if you don't want to be spending a fortune on powertools. They have quite an expensive range of tools and the quality is pretty good. The only problem is the batteries don't stand up to much on site, I used the circular saw to rip a couple doors down and a 4 amp battery only got me through two doors. I think ryobi is more for the part time or DIYer than for heavy duty works some sites require.

A cheap brand but with very good performance and quality. Perfect for the average joe or tradesman just starting out. If it’s just for a diy job I would recommend the corded range.

The Ryobi tools I have owned have been good value for there price range, however the batteries don't stand up for the trade level abuse sadly.

They are a very competitive brand who I will use over and over again.
The one battery system at 18v is stunning and the battery life is very good when being used under constant pressure, they are seen as a DIY brand but honestly they are my back up now but as I started out with them as I had little money I won’t let go

Brilliant brand with great tools wouldn’t use anything else. They don’t feel cheap, would be lost without these tools everyday. Great value for money with massive savings to be found. Customer support is 10/10 emails answered quick and efficiently!

Ryobi has become the go to brand for the DIY user to tradesmen who want an all in one sytem on a range of power tools and accessories to match. Their prices are much more palatable and service backing matches up compared to the likes of Bosch, Makita, De Walt

Great products at very good prices. I have 8 of the Ryobi range so far and have been impressed with every one of them to-date. Battery life is good, with several hours use with a standard drill.

The range of tools are limited for my profession as a mechanic. However, the DIY and gardening tools are a cost effective way to get into a one battery fits all set. The hedge trimmer, line strimmer and reciprocating saw are regularly used by myself around the home.

I’m only a DIY er but cannot fault the Ryobi 18v range of tools, they all work great for what I do, I have the jig saw, rip saw, angle grinder, reciprocating saw and a couple drills, all work great

Built for a budget. I personally found these didn’t last so well compared to other known brands. I had battery issues and endless issues. I chose to go for other makes

Is very good, it does las long is bang resistance strong tools no problem using them so far for about 16 years is good set up, and I’ll like to keep buying them as they hasn’t let me down yet, can find parts anywhere.

Not a bad range for the beginners or DIY enthusiast, but don’t really cut it at the top level. Had a history of battery problems however I’m led to believe the current range are of a better quality.

I have used Ryobi kit for years and never had a problem. It stands up equally to the more expensive kit that lads use on site. The range is extensive and covers all aspects of construction use

Been using this brand for a couple of years and it hasn’t let me down. The old type were a bit heavy but new part are a lot lighter, battery life is good.

As expected with the lower end of the power tool market brilliant bits of kit for avid diyers but once used day in day out by a tradesmen you start to see what you pay for

Amazing range. Garden and diy perfect for use around the home, I wouldn’t recommend for a tradesperson though as they do not preform as well as such people may expect

Ryobi Are the absolute perfect all for any domestic DIY person. They were very wide range of tools including gardening tools. Fast charging battery.

These are great value for money but availability of some products like storage boxes and certain tools let's the range down
The after market help is also a issue ie not many repair centrrs

They have a good selection in their range and can be a good option, One+ changed how many manufacturers sold products, now most lines come with a similar system of one battery for multiple products, the are some similar quality products for cheaper prices

Great choice of products and selection of tools. Cheap end of the market but ideal for any home job. I use them for day to day jobs for ease and less risk of massive financial loss or stolen . They do the job well and I live the charge time.

These tools are essentially for DIY. Ryobi has a huge range but I probably wouldn’t bring them on site with me. If you’re looking for some tools to use around the house then they’re perfectly acceptable but they don’t quite cut it for professional use.

Do not get these its impossible to get a decent battery.
They say one battery fits all but doesn't for garden tools
Go milwaulki tools every time the best you can get.

Great tools, great price and massive range.
I have over 12 different power tools and great changing battery and not having to worry is that one charged just swap with oanother tool

I use several ryobi tools. They are a mid-range brand. If you’re a DIY’ enthusiast or a professional that needs a tool for occasional use then it’s well worth looking at their range. Slightly disappointed with the accuracy of their table saw but the Brad 16g nailer and angle grinder are fine. Battery charging is a bit slow compared to dewalt.

I have both the 3/8 & 1/2 impact guns. Very good for what I use them for. I also have the drill, they are all cordless & the batteries last me all day or up to 3 days depending on use. I am now buying another tools by Ryobi

Great tools and value for money tough rugged and up to the task for the job I’m doing. Will definitely be buying more tools from this brand.

Ryobi was the first brand I used going into my apprenticeship. It is brilliant for a beginner or for in the home, does the job and doesn’t brake the bank.

Debatably the best bang for your buck out there! Good quality tools and a huge range available, very well priced although does anyone else feel they are slightly increasing over the years?!

Bought a impact drill and a drill driver last year and never had a problem I realy rate these tools never had a problem in undoing things or doing them up battery charging is quick so you can carry on with the job

I’ve used ryobi tools now for 7 years great value for money ,it doesn’t matter how big or small the job is they have never let me down.I will continue to use these in the future .

Great selection of tools,but I do wonder if they are suited to more home DIY then being used all day on jobs but for a cheap starter pack that has multiple tools using the same batterys then this is for you.

Recently brought cordless 18v drill for my sons first drill and to be honest a lot better than expected - I always go for either dewalt or makita but thought this was a great cheaper alternative- although not quite as good as the dewalt or makita this would be perfect for a DIYer

I have a Ryobi impact driver and it was abound 18month old before it actually snapped through the trigger space, like I thought new one as called Ryobi who advise take photos and serial number and they would ? I loved my impact driver so strong and never gave in! So I decided to keep the unit and try to fix it as the mechanics would all be ok! However in meantime I cleaned the bearings and all moving parts, I fouled a company willing to sell the Ryobi body and managed to get it looking like new and quieter than ever with the grease and so glad I did saved a packet of money for another tool, if anyone else has any similar this please share I am interested to know if saying money in this pandemic is on your mode,, cheers Dale

As a diy'er I buy tools as I need them ryobi is a top product cheep versatile and dose a great job. Baterys are interchangeable so I can cut timber with my circular saw then in 2 clicks ill be fixing it down or together with my impact driver and the same Batery

Ryobi Combi Drill and Impact Driver set. Very good value for money. Rechargeable battery can be used between each device. Build is very good for the money and seems solid. Have owned for about 8 years. Came in Carey bag with charger and 1 battery. Do work with more than one battery. Combi drill does struggle with brick and stone but will get the job done.

For the money you just can't beat build quality and they compare with many other more expensive brands
The range of tools covers pretty much all sectors and they are always creating new tools and technology

Does exactly what it says on the tom, entry level diy tools in my option but amazingly priced great value for money unsure how long they would last the test of time used daily rechargeable battery’s are spot on

As a new starter, ryobi tools are excellent value for money. Their one+ range is a great option to save a bit of money as you only need one/two batteries and can buy bare tool bodies. Not sure how they stand in comparison to other brands for longevity but so far so good

Great kit if your starting out but wouldn’t recommend long term as it just doesn’t keep up with the performance of other like DeWALT Makita Ect but price point reflects that well all in all good value

I dont think ive ever had a bad Ryobi tool. I dont use tgem so much now but i had a pair of drills for years the only reason i dont use them now is the batteries died and i upgraded. The other tools ive not owned but used or know people with them have all been great too

Massive range of tools for any diy’er and great quality for use in and around the house. The battery system that means you can use one battery for everything is brilliant but not a professional range would love to see a professional range with the same battery system

A nice range of tools for home and garden and the one + battery is great value for money, not the products that most professional trade's would use but good enough for most diy-ers

i have a 18v ryobi nail gun that i use almost every day. for the price i paid for it, it has to be one of the best on the market. would highly recommend.

Great quality tools would never look anywhere else due to the long life and competitive prices provided. Anyone would find it hard to beat them. Great to use.

I’ve loved using the ryobi range over the past few months as they are great for the diy’er and are suitable on site if using the 4.0ah batteries. Got plenty of grunt using these batteries and the impact drivers are capable of driving home a large coach bolt quite easily as I found out when erecting my 5m x 3m raised deck area. Completed the project on one battery so was really impressed. Would definitely recommend this range for home use and if budget is tight then this range is adequate for small site use.

Cheap tools again but would use these for working at home wouldn't want to use on site but only because battery doesn't last and the power isn't amazing but again there cheap tools so good for money

cheap and cheerful DIY gear and perfectly fine for what its designed for but just doesnt cope with sustained day to day use. cheap though and ok as a last resort

I first purchased the one + system 9+ years ago. I still have that combi drill and it has never failed me. I have expanded on the range and yet to be disappointed. As much as people like to give Ryobi a hard time. I'd say you can't go wrong using these as a start point and beyond.

I bought Ryobi one+ tools as a stopgap about 4 years ago when my van got broken into and am still using them today, I’ve broken 1 sds and 1 combi drill in that time so can’t really complain. The sds and battery drills don’t feel as powerful as the bigger brands but there impact driver I would put up against anyone’s.

We've used the Ryobi one+ range for the last 10 years. On site and in all weathers they have been generally very good and robust for the price. We recently started buying the brushless range in particular drill/drivers and jigsaw units which have worked well initially but have not lasted very well. The last driver was 10 month old when it stopped.

Ryobi provides reasonably priced tools for the DYI average guy, but their tools hold surprisingly well in domestic and commercial construction.

I have been using the pressure pump for pressurising expansion vessels on boilers. The long lead and easy to use pump make light work and quick

Although my Nipper takes the p@ss he loves DeWalt I have never had a problem with any of there tools and they have got me out of trouble cheaply a few times

Great value for money especially if starting out I’ve had my ryobi drill, impact driver, recip saw, angle grinder nearly everyday for the last 3 years. They could do with replacing now but have served me very well. Never had any problems

Good reasonably priced gear like the fact you don't have to buy abattery with every tool
4.0ah lithium iron does the job for me still going strong after two years of abuse works for me not had to use customer service

I have almost the entire 1plus range and a few 5AH batteries it all seems to be if good quality I give them a hammering. I use a £79 ERH710 plug in sds drill for drilling core holes at least twice a week for the last 2 years (same treatment killed my £149 makita in 6months and was refused a new one under warranty) still going strong. I did have a fault on a battery sds drill sent it back under warranty and had it replaced no questions asked. I think it's a great brand.
