Great saw that runs off the one plus battery system. Works well for light use as it warms the motor up if used for lots of deep cuts. But going steady makes a tidy finish

Overall great saw but you need the bigger 4ah batteries otherwise it can stall. Take it ease and great saw. Use mine almost daily and do fences, sheds, decking and great to

This is a very good small circular saw. It is great for ply, osb etc but will struggle with thicker timber. The thin blade helps ensure it actually cuts better than expected and means the battery lasts longer. Like all the Ryobi range it takes any of their batteries (even the old NiCad if you have them).

This product packs a great deal of value in for the price. It is more than capable of performing any cutting job you can think off. It does exactly what it says on the box and for a cheaper price than most competitors.

Had this for a few months and I can’t complain about this saw, nice and light to use and it cuts wood easy, used it a couple of times for rip cuts and for cutting along a tounge and grove flooring and was no problem, perfect for diy as well

Got a whole set of ryobi gear a couple of years ago after me van got done over as a stop gap, well its all served me well and so am still using them, this saws lasted me well although i dont use it day in day out and only use it to rip up floorboards and dont really do no finishing work with it. But for what i need it for, a rough cut cheap saw which wont cost the world to replace

Ryobi is a great brand doesnt seem to get as much praise as some of the other brands. I would have a few batteries of standby if you were going to use this all day but using a 1.5ah battery you do get quite afew cuts

Not bad for the money. If you're thinking of using one every day then I'd say no, pay a bit more and go for Dewalt, Fein or Fesstool

Killed this saw very quickly, motor burned out after about an hours work in its life. It was replaced under warranty but I won't be going back to it. I think this type of tool is just too powerful for a battery I'm buying a plug in.

I had to return and replace this circular saw 3 times due to the motor burning out cutting 6mm ply. Very poor build low quality motors. In my opinion avoid not really suitable for the majority of diyers let alone trade. Contacted ryobi and received poor customer service to top it off.
