Simple to install and no issues with them. Useable on standard systems and glycol. 28mm fittings on the one used. Plenty of flow through.
Installed several of these now and while not a favourite it’s decent enough.

Great magnet, but I am always seeing them with leaks, leading to replacement seals or replacement units would much sooner fit the Fernox omega filter

Like most opinions on here not the best made filter. Apart from seals leaking after working on them , they have a pretty poor magnet, not the best out there.

Wouldn’t personally purchase one of these over an ADEY Magnaclean but have installed a few for customers now. Nothing massively wrong with the unit just generally not as good And not as easy to use

Not the best bit of kit on the market, have an issue with over tightening which results in some small leaks, best to only hand tighten, bit overpriced for what it actual does

Not my favourite filter on the market, find the build quality to be poor, not the easiest to install and overall very fiddly with all the different type of washers/o rings, often get a small weep on it

By far one of the worst filter I have ever come across. Awful to service as valves and seals leak. Even on replacing seals and following there instructions they leak. I actively take them out if I see one installed now and replace with a better quality filter.

Used to use these a lot but they all leaked after a while. They would need to be tightened constantly so stopped using and went for the magnaclean instead

I used to fit these filters when they first came out hoping that they would be better than magnaclean. At the time magnaclean filters had a problem with the screw cap access to the magnet, the cap over time distorted. Low and behold the same thing happened to the tf1 after a year and also the filters leaks from adjustable base. Adey (magnaclean) have addressed the issue with the cap. I would highly recommend the magnaclean Pro 2, great bit of kit and worth the cost.

Unfortunately they have just not got this filter right. Leaks when cleaned from the top and fernox do not recommend this now, without fitting a new service kit after...
more hassle than it’s worth. Fernox have great products but unfortunately their system filter is not one of them

Following on from some other reviews they can move about a bit when fitting and servicing, so you need to re tighten the joints as they can leak, saying that it’s s good product as it filters a lot of sludge from the system, and is easy to install.

Good old leaky tf1, I thought the magnaclean was bad, fair enough it picks up ok, but still not the best, it's big and ugly and leaks from everywhere, the plastic cap/ISO lever is always worn so you have to use grips, I wouldn't buy or sell one of these, maybe the omega, for now I will stick to spirotrap with spirovent on new installs and the magnaclean on upgrade work, only because they really pick up the sludge and muck.
