Can not big this up enough, needed something that could handle the job and this was recommended to me by a friend . Want sure I needed to spend that much on a single saw but It more than justified the price tag. Just cruises through timbers no problem, clean accurate and strong.

Worth every penny. I needed a good sturdy build for a large project and this product has not disappointed me yet. Excellent cuts, not too heavy and provides a perfect solution when mobile cutting is required. Other brands have not caught up with Festool and their build quality is astounding.

Other brands have caught up now and maffel (not sure if i spelt that right) is slightly better. But i still have my festool plunge saw going strong and has paid for itself plenty times over. Still an industry standerd in my opinion.

Bought this, with rails, and a fine tooth blade, to cut “pacryllic” kitchen doors and filler panels. With a new blade, the cuts were almost factory perfect. And the rails have always been easy to position and use without the need to clamp.
Still going strong 8 years on

This tool is a dream to use. It’s very simple but extremely accurate. Once the tool has been set up correctly, it can be used to cut finished materials such as laminates or kitchen end panels without chipping them. Perfect for kitchen fitters or making cabinets etc.

I borrowed a festool plunge saw and track for a job I was working on. It’s sublime. If you have the money then consider this as an investment, not just a purchase. There are other brands that have now come close in performance to this saw and it would be worth considering them if money is tight.

Very good track saw works well with festoon dust extractors. Things I like if you cut the cord you can just buy a new one and not have to re wire it, good death adjustment with tool free micro adjustment. Very smooth running tool comfortable in the hand.

A great bit of kit. Got this, the DeWALT 110v and the Bosch 240v plunge saw at work. Along with the flex volt DeWALT saw.

I prefer the Bosch. Has a far superior track system.

The Festool is the industry standard though. Plenty of power. Solid tracks, but again the joining system isn’t the best in my opinion which is why I’ve scored it at 4stars out of 5.

Dubious about the extra price over other brands but this is in a class of its own. Paired up with a midi extractor and it leaves hardly any mess. Keep finding reasons to use it!

Great bit of kit, I’ve had it about 5 years .i don’t buy festool blades for it as they are just to expensive but for anyone wanting a good accurate saw that’s built to last I would reccomend it. Like most festool kit it’s a bit expensive but that really is the only small negative

Bought the TS55 as the result of a recommendation from a Festool Facebook group, having already owned the TS75. It’s a really good saw and very easy to use. Coupled with a Festool extractor and there is very little dust.

Having owned the TS75 previously and knowing how good the saw is, when I changed to the latest TS55 I was even more impressed with its versatility and accuracy.
With all the other various attachments you can add this really is a great piece of kit to have along with extraction unit on your jobs.

Best plunge saw on the market in my view. Owned mine for 3 years and was brought specifically for worktops, but have found know end of uses for it.

Build is quality is great. Aftercare is exceptional.
The only downsides i have are blades are pricey (Festool own do seem a cleaner cut)

The main thing a the removal cord never locks in so ends up pulling out half way into a cut.

I've been using the TS55 for around 5 years now and it has paid for itself over and over again.
I tend to always use genuine Festool blades and the cuts it produces are always perfect. Couple it up to a Festool Midi extractor for the ultimate combo. Really professional, minimal mess, better cuts and more caring for your health as there is a lot less dust floating around.
I couldn't be without my TS55.

After years of having to take the base in to consideration when measuring any cut with my Makita skill saw and then clamping a straight edge to cut along , I decided to take the Plunge with this.
The ease of use and the accuracy of the guide rail make it a pleasure to use.
It is quite expensive, but the amount of time it saves and the quality of the cut outweigh the price.
Would recommend it to anyone in the market for a new saw

I have the 110v version of this saw. Overall it's an amazing piece of kit that produces an extremely high standard of cut. It's accurate, easy to use and we'll made.
It is expensive but comparable in price to many of its competitors.
I've heard mentions of it struggling but in my experience it's about using the correct blade for the job at hand.
All in all I love this machine.

Bought this about 3 years ago as I was mainly installing bathrooms with wall boards and this saved me a huge amount of time and has paid for itself easily. I have this coupled with a festool dust extractor to save me having to sweep up at the end of the day and it looks so professional when there is no mess in the customers driveway. I have even used this inside with minimal mess which is a deal breaker compared to using a standard circular saw. I don't use it every day but when I do, it brings a smile to my face.

Love my Festool circular saw, very easy to use, the guide rail system makes cutting straight lines very easy.

More expensive than its competitors, but you do get peace of mind of the 3 year warranty and theft protection.

I delayed purchasing this saw for years due to the price & because I already have a tablesaws, corded and cordless circular saws; couldn't seem to justify the purchase. I Shouldn't have waited- this saw is incredible! I am a kitchen installer and I do alot of custom cabinets, solid wood worktop installs, etc. & have found this saw will make extremely difficult or impossible cuts easily. For instance, I just trimmed a 4m length of of oak worktop down its entire width in one cut effortlessly & the anti-splintering worked perfectly- better than using a Stanley knife to score the grain. Trimming door bottoms is almost effortless, fast & absolutely splinter-free (even across splintery fir end grain).
In short worth every Penny.
