Since using one Would never consider putting up plasterboard without one easy to load and set depth you just have to make sure the gun is not at a angle to the board

Nice product, easy to use and not too heavy , well balanced and easy to load, can not really compare to other products as I have never used anything else except an ordinary drill and it certainly beats that.

It’s an ok machine if using good quality screws. The magazine is very flimsy and mine did break off. It’s been dependable other than that and have owned it 3-4 yrs now

Used for a while on a renovation job and was pretty faultless except for once it caught a screw at an angle and drove it through one of the guides, unsure if it was a damaged screw clip or user error but put it out of action until we could get a replacement part.
Other than that did a good 1000 odd secrws before failure.

As I’m a big Milwaukee fan, I noticed they didn’t have one of these in their range. I borrowed this off a colleague and loved it. Hopefully Milwaukee bring one out soon

Good cordless tools so nice with no lead in your face when doing plaster boards on the ceiling can be a little bit temperamental if not used square and screws can jam in the casing, soon get used to and makes for a much faster job

Hi Bought this a while ago and I use it pretty much every day. It's cheap to buy and it's got so much power behind it. I can't recommend it enough.

This autofeed screwdriver is a great cordless tool preventing leads getting in the way when In use.
Many people seem to say it’s hard to use however if used square the collated screws once set to required depths go in fine.
This tool really speeds up fitting time of plasterboard and I personally would recommend.

I have read a lot of crap about these but I can’t say I’ve had any problems (that I didn’t create myself mostly through lack of patience).Using this really speeds up the job.

What to say.... this makita screwgun has been a fantastic purchase for me, it does have the occasional fit and stop working, but 9/10 times it user error and it’s because I haven’t driven it square, I’ve watched many people try and fail to use this gun, but I can assure you once you get the technique it won’t let you down

I have been using Makita for the last 5 years since moving over dean Dewalt, I can not recommend Makita on there power tool selections, unrivalled in power and performance, opting for brushless allow amazing longevity and outlasting use on a 5.0ah battery.

Bought one back in July 2014, Not had it working well since on 35mm plasterboard screws jams every few screws more when you are working above you bought because I had other makita tools just for the batteries. only. never got through one strip of screws yet till I was using 50mm square drive headed screws to lay some plywood no jams with them at all. now bought a dewalt DCF620D2K No jams with that one yet same screws plus you can take autofeed off and use it as manual drywall driver as well so far so good.

Great tool wouldnt be without it for plasterboarding it makes the job so much faster. Can use it all day as its not too heavy. Does jam sometimes but think that seems to be certain screws. Yellow and black box by timco seem to be the best

Owned one of these for many years. It's good ,well built. Can be awkward if it jams up, however wouldn't be without it. And it's ran off my 3ah batteries with no issues. One bit of advice, don't use the cheap screws from toolstation

Much easier than a drill but if using corse screws then 5ah battery is needed! Otherwise I find it doesn't put the screws in all the way!

Another great tool from Marita. The quality of this is good, it's light and easy to use. I would recommend using the Makita screws though as the cheaper brands tend to stick.
