It’s a great nail gun when it works properly. Often the tip does get jammed and it stops it from working. So can be a hassle often. Also remember to keep the gas in the front of the van in the warm when it’s cold to avoid the gas canisters from freezing up.

Useless attempt makita. Stick to your day job and leave the nail guns to the professionals like paslode. I owned this gun for only 8weeks and gave it back the nib kept getting jammed no matted how much service oil I used then double firing nails , nails getting stuck to the point it didn't fire at all then after 10 attempts a fire

Great product, easy to use, Has no problems so far, had one a couple of years ago and had no problems either. Only downside to the item (which isn't the tool itself) is: 1- you get two batteries, why not introduce a dual charger? Makes sense 2- as standard I think you should get a basic maintenance kit, I know they do promotions every now and then but it would be great to get it as part of the standard setup.

Had an Estwing hammer when I started my apprenticeship back in 94, still going strong today! Good quality products. You pay that little bit more than other brands but if you look after your tool ... it will look after you !! Ha. Can’t fault this brand of hammer. Go on treat yourself!

Just converted to these from another brand. I am very impressed with them, they clean nearly everything that is hard to remove with other products. They have a variety of different wipes and each priced reasonably. The only disappointment is that they are not wet enough and they seem to dry out very quickly once out of the container.

I have the 1721 model, same as this but with extra functions. Well priced MFTs straight forward to use. The 1721 can test type AC, A & B RCDs which is great. The leads can be temperamental and could be better (the older 1500 series leads were much better. I have changed my leads at least 3 times in 4 years. (I do a LOT of commercial testing so this does have an impact) All in all very good set of MFTs at a good price.

Great testers for everyday safe isolation and fault finding. No electrician should be without these. Easy to use and navigate the settings, and has auto off function (which is great as the apprentice keeps leaving them switched on!!!!) They bounce well, and brush it off ready for the next test. Much better than the cheap alternatives.
