Review for Nerrad Tools Versa Clamp by A.S.S.K Gas and Building Services

When I first saw these I thought they were just a gimmick but after using them I'd highly recommend them. They keep smaller pipes tid. I use the hooks to hang them from my van shelving keeping my van floor clear.

At first I didn't know what these were for and ignored them at the plumbers merchant. When the penny finally dropped what a great product, keeps all my hoses nice and tidy in the van, beats using a bit of old copper wire or zip ties!

Got these for storing my hoses and they are great for holding, plus you can hang them in the van or on your bag.

Hey, guys. Thought I'd do a toolbox review for you for Expert Trades. This one's on Nerrad versa clamps. Now, we've all heard of Nerrad, and all heard some pretty bad things about them. Pipe slices, to be honest when I first got them, first tried them, I thought, "These are fantastic." They cut really well, but the wheels don't last and overall I've just given up on them, to be honest. So I don't use them anymore. They do, I think it's called a versa funnel. This is a great bit of kit, if you're draining boilers, changing parts in boilers and you've just got an odd drip. You can mould it, shape it to catch the water and direct it out of the boiler into your tray. Really good, really good. Even just changing free ports and stuff, you know, you can wedge it between bits of pipe, and yeah. That's a great bit of kit.

Then these versa clamps. Just picked them up last week. Got them from Williams & Co. They come in a pack of three, and this is the large. There's a little button on top you just press in, and it opens it up. So that's in the largest position. I mean, it's probably about a three inch hole there. I wouldn't buy anything else apart from the large ones, to be honest. But what I bought it for is for the hose. Just to keep the hosepipe together, if you can see that round there. Just keeps it tidy. Well, would do if I'd wrapped it a bit neater than that. But that's what the versa clamp is. See it's on there, quick release, back off. They are only plastic, feel pretty flimsy. We'll see how long they last, but it's got to be better than using bits of rope and all sort of to keep that together. So yeah. Cheers, guys.
