These are great for red brick. Only issue is getting the combs to stay in the damn thing. Literally the best, worst thing armeg released. Great idea, poor delivery

My first one of these was great for the first year or so, and changing the comb a good 5 or 6 times I might add, so a fair bit of use, after that the comb holder became quite loose, so I decided it had had its time and I’d get a new one. The new one didn’t seem to have a long groove in the shank so wouldn’t fit in my sds, a quick trip back to where I got it and it was swapped for a new one.

I thought these were a gimmick, and I plugged away with standard spade bits until J borrowed one from a plumber. I went straight out and bought my own. Brilliant and surprisingly easy to use to hammer out neat backbox recesses.

Easy simple tool to use that can yearly help but need to keep the use time down as it can wear and the teeth come off of its used to long at once.

These are really nice tools and have a really good fan base as well as me. Long lasting and great for any job. Good price and good build so no breaks on the job.

This chiseled well in the beginning however I find the blades fall out a lot now so I don't really use it much anymore, I'd love to see them make a cheaper one piece version that is responsible once blunt to avoide this issue

Really good but soft metal that holds the bit. I got board one day and ready the little leaflet and it does say don’t use it for more than 20mins.
It gets super hot and just falls out.
I banged a self tapper in and it works awesome now.

Always have had a scutch chisel but the armed one is by far the best. Other scutch chisels don't hold the blades for long as the grip pulls apart when hammering. Much better for using than a regular chisel as you can it scratches away at the brick instead of taking chunks off

Great piece of kit, was gutted when mine got stolen! With my drill. Easy to change the tips and they seem to last forever

One of my favourite chisels. Use this to accurate cut holes for back boxes. If you are a sparky you need to have one. Onlh disadvantage- be careful and do not overheat it. Otherwise it will not hold the blades or they will move.

At first glance it looks a very expensive sds chisel, it's worth every penny!
I'm an electrician and spend a lot of time chasing back boxes and cable runs.
The scotch chisel shaves off a bit of brick at a time making it far more controllable then a traditional flat chisel.
Saves so much time and a neat professional looking job

Excellent chisel, quickly removes material, even when used on blue brick! Make sure you grease the sds shank prior to use to prevent snapping due to excessive heat.
