Just had brand new glow worm combi put in. Its appalling the shower pressure is half what i had and if the washing machine is on or someone washes their hands elsewhere the shower slows to a dribble! Honestly if it cant cope with normal usage its not fit for purpose.
Im going to have the whole thing ripped out. Its caused soooo many arguments. Cant run a dishwasher or washing machine at the same time! Kids cant have showers at same time now makes going out as a family 3 times longer as each obe has to wait for a shower to be free!!!! Unbelivable something like this can be sold in such modern times. Despite my contacting customer service no one bothered to reply.

The Glowworm Energy Combi Boiler range is a fantastic medium budget boiler which comes with great warranty.
Its easy to install and commission and the rear exit flue can be a real game changer.
Highly recommend this boiler for landlords and homeowners.

Must admit I really do like the size and flexibility of these boilers. Being able to flue through the back is a big advantage in so many situations where room is at a premium. The quality seems very good, although more plastic in them, but that is the same way all boilers are or going. Fitted a few now and not had any issues to date. Will continue to fit these where I can.

Great boiler for the price. It's basically a vaillant ecofit pure in a glowworm cover. Slightly less intuitive on the menu but that's because it's cheaper than the vaillant but internally exactly the same boiler. Put a few of these without any issues.

I have fitted many over the last couple of years , easy to fit and strip down and training courses are free to learn more and the climapro is so quick and easy to fit . 7 year warranty via the app . this can be extended to ten years but at a cost .

Hard to beat for the price. Easy to install, easy to repair as expansion vessel, plate heat exchanger and prv all very accessible. Decent guarantee period for the client. Very quiet as well.

I’ve fitted lots of these boilers and overall they are fairly decent for a mid range boiler.The integral filling loop is a bit fiddly and tight on space.It is best to fit boiler connections to boiler before fitting boiler on wall.The commissioning is easy once you know the sequence.Fit using the climpro rf2 it is Boiler plus compliant and easy to fit and use

Personally I’d steer clear of Glowworm. If you want a good combi boiler at a budget price I’d try the Worcester 2000. I’ve fitted lots and they are a quality bit of kit for the price.

The Energy boiler is a good boiler but you must make sure the system is cleaned really well as the pressure sensor gets blocked easily, due to its location.

I’d look at the Main Eco boiler mate. They do them in 2 sizes (25 & 30kw) if memory serves me right. Basically a Baxi 600 with a Main badge and different front cover.
5 yr Warranty out the box and nice simple install.

Glow worm Boiler more better than Main boiler. Glow worm Boiler owners by Vaillaint. You can have 3 5 7 10 years warranty. They using same parts as Vaillaint almost.

Glowworm are confident enough to offer a ten year warranty should say something, only done a few but with no problems at all. I don't fit really cheap boilers to be honest, I don't need to risk the calls from unhappy folk.
