Great pair of pliers the price of them, have them a very long time and they are very good. Fit for anything and on of the better pair of pliers on the market at the minute. Great job.

Excellent product for small cable installations. Very handy stripping for individual cores up to 2.5mm and crimping all combines in one very useful tool. Small in size helps in terms of using as long nose pliers, easily used in one hand at reach to grab wiring. Cutting blade very sharp and makes short work of cables up to 2.5mm t+e but does struggle with larger cables.

These pliers are perfect for electrical work due to their long nose which is incredibly useful when trying to grab and pry cables out of tight spots really helped fishing cables through tiny holes this week

Greta little pliers, a lot smaller than I was expecting, I found them possibly a little too small for day to day use but they were and will be fantastic for working and building control panels etc

Good pair of small combi pliers from knipex! Build quality is top notch like with all knipex products! These pliers are smaller than I thought, but have come in handy a couple occasions for things my larger knipex combi pliers are too clunky for! Overall I’d say not a ‘must have’ more of a tool for the right job and right occasion

When I got this I got to say I was a bit surprised by its size. But as the saying goes size isn’t always important. This is a great bit of kit easy to use. It’s great for getting into small spaces. I haven’t used all the functions like the crimping side of things but overall I’m very impressed.

When I first got these I was cautious of their smaller size but the build quality and effectiveness quickly surpassed my expectations. The Cutters are sharp and the cable strippers are effortless. Great set of pliers and have taken the place of my snips and pliers weighting down in my pockets.

Pliers are perfectly weighted in your hand, feel very comfortable to grip. Top quality again from knipex. Provide a good grip to the surface of cables, without being to rough on the surface to damage them. Agile point to get into tight areas. Side cutter part is nice & sharp. At first didn’t really think the cable stripping function was of much use, but after using them for a week, discovered it’s very handy rather than having to swap to cutters.

I have been using these for the past week daily, at first I was surprised at their small size, but as I often work inside panels and distribution boards, it’s actually really helpful. The jaws are nice and thin so you can pick out wiring in a busy panel with ease, usual great quality from Knipex and the cutting edges are very sharp, it’s also useful being able to strip individual cores and even crimp bootlace ferrules all in the same tool! These have replaced my ageing pair of long nose pliers and I’ll happily use them for the foreseeable.

Hello, Peter here, at Lyttle Smart Homes. Doing a Tool Talk review on the Knipex pliers, cable strippers, cable cutters and bootlace crimping tool. So these are a brilliant set of pliers. Obviously, because I have big fat fingers, I can't get into a lot of these small spaces on the panel. So it's handy for me to be getting grip of these cables and pushing them into the terminals. Some of them can be pretty tight.
So whenever I'm building the panels, I obviously have the bootlace that I'm using. Also there's tight areas in here that I would struggle, just because of the size of my fingers. These things haven't been out my hands since I got them, about three weeks ago. They're quite small, but they're a good grip on the teeth.
Good for stripping different sizes of cable. Obviously, I do cable like this small stuff. Bigger cable, it's good for stripping the thicker cores. And then it'll do up to a 2.5 crimp, which is two of my cables put together, which is pretty good. They're a decent size, they're small. In my pocket is just sitting full of screwdrivers and stuff. But two of the tools that I'm using nearly every day now is these two products.
And they're never really out of my hand for doing the likes of these panels. A very, very good product, very small in the hand. But it's like an extension to my hand, just because of the ease of getting terminals into places that I wouldn't normally be able to get in with my fingers. They're a good, solid set of pliers. I have other pointy nose pliers, but they're usually very, very long, or long handles on them. These are just nice to sit in the palm of the hand. That's me. They're comfortable. That's my whole hand with them on it, so they're not very big.
But they're very, very good. And because you can get good leverage pushing them together, they're not a good replacement for the ratchet, bootlace crimps. But whenever you sometimes can't find them, which would be pretty normal for me, they get you out of your hole to get these terminals made off. Some of them are made and some aren't done yet. This is a work in progress, but these are all done using those crimps.
So that's the power supply. But definitely would recommend these as a good set of pliers. There's a bit more information on them, but that's the numbers of them. So they'll do up to 1.5, sorry, 2.5, 0.5 to 0.75. So definitely a good little set of pliers with crimps, cutters, strippers. I really like them. I would definitely recommend.
Hi guys, Dan here from SIA Property Services. I'm just doing a quick review for Expert Trades on the Knipex versatile electrician's pliers. So first thing for me is the size of them. You can see them in my hand, I ain't got big monster hands, but they're really small and compact. So getting into them boards, getting into the bird's nest we're often left with, ideal. Plenty grip on the ends and they're narrow on the end. So nice and easy to get in there and find what you need to find.
On the actual plier we've got the bender at the top, your three strippers is in the middle, which I think is 0.75, one five, and two and a half mil. Cutters at the bottom, and then these little bits here are your crimps for your ferrules when you're in them boards second fixing.
So, just quickly the two and a half mil is the middle. Nice and easy to strip that off and then drop straight into the bender at the top. It gives you the nice little loop at the top. Ideal, nice and quick, easy and I'd say all-in-one little plier. The only downside, I know technically we shouldn't do it, but how many of us snip the end, pull the edge back to strip your cable. It's obvious you're not going to be able to do it with these because the cutter is down the bottom. But that's not really what they're for.
But yeah, if you're doing a board swap in there, it's kind of one of, well it's one of them things in it. But if you're all stripped back and ready to go, then for actually second fixing they're a quality bit of kit. I want to give them some use over the coming weeks and get back to you if there's any more findings that I feel you should know about. But from a first, I've been using this week for second fixing. And yeah, like I say, ideal little bit of kit. Easy in your pockets. So yeah, thanks for expert trades for sending them out for me to review and I'll give you any more feedback as I keep using them. Cheers guys, speak soon.
