Knipex Cobra® Water Pump Pliers, Cushion Grip

Fantastic pair of grips once again from knipex, the quality you would expect from them of you have any of their other products. Very hand in tight spaces up under kitchen sinks etc. Usually use the 250 mm ones but when you need these nothing else comes clos.

Kinpex cobra water pump pliers custom grip. I'm pretty confident 95% of engineers have these and that's not just because they are copying what others have. It's becasue they are the best on the market

Absolutely superb grips, I have been using these for the last few years, and now have the 160, 250 and 300mm ones, well engineered out of quality steel, frankly I wish I'd bought them years ago

Not the cheapest by a long way but you really get what you pay for with these. Very strong and long lasting only reason to ever buy a new set is if you loose them as these will never break on you. Get them you wont regret it

Great set ofGrips I replaced my channel locks and havent looked back , very easy to use, lock into place and no slipping. Very strong and havent had any problems with my set yet

Brilliant. Simply brilliant, they are incredibly smooth and quick to transition between size of grip and the bite is solid with no slipping. I will be adding more to my tool bag

More comfortable a less accident prone than the Bahco equivalent, with greater traction if you can't get a perfect position than the Knipex Plier Wrench. Definitely worth having a couple of sizes in an everyday carry bag

Really good set of grips regardless of what size you get. I have a really small set that stays in my pocket all the time and two big sets for glanding off cables. Perfect for the job.

I used to have Ridgid water pump pliers when I started out 20 years ago. I’d rate the Ridgid 5/5. These edge it slightly due to the ergonomic design. They feel more natural in your hand. I carry the very small set in my pocket (alongside my small bahco shifter) and along with a small electrical screwdriver can do a decent amount of jobs or investigation work.

Not had them for long. But I wonder how I managed without them. So solid, great positive feel on materials, smooth action. There is a reason so many people rave about them.
Really well priced for the quality as well. A no brainier. These are the grips you are looking for.

Had a few sets of the bigger size of these. But I have Just got my first set of these 125mm pump pliers. And the are very good for working/glanding into compacted boards. Handy size to keep in your pocket

I have only recently purchased these and from the first moment you pick them up you realise they are quality,, just nice to use,, they do their job superbly,, I will be buying another pair soon and be looking at other pliers in the range.

Great set of grips. Would pick these over channel lock grips just for reason of you do slip it won't pinch your fingers. They are also great quality and button adjustment is great.

Got my first pair of cobras 6 months ago and haven't looked back. They've been a great pair of grips saving me loads. They slip way less than my previous pair (bahco) and feel very comfortable in my hand. Reccomend to anyone

Have used knipex grips/ pump pliers for a few years now. I stumbled across them at a wholesalers that I use. I bought a very large pair and they were cheap at the time, have noticed the price has creeped up over the years but being very honest no other maker on the market compare to knipex. They are brilliant take a pounding most days and the grip has not wore out on them yet. They fit comfortably in your hand and in my opinion the best part of these grips they lock in place via a spring and do not slip and crush your nail like many other cheaper brands. Very safe comfortable and faithful tool that should be found in every trade persons tool bag/ box. Also I use amazon to buy most of my tools as they are cheaper then shops and delivery time is usually second to none.

I have many cobra grips in all different sizes and I would use any other grips! These are extremely well made and comfortable in hand, highly recommend.

Only grips I'll ever use. Comfortable, long lasting and grip superior to none!! The lock mechanism is simple and easy to use and possible to do with one hand. Would recommend as they are more expensive then other brands but you get so much more for it!

You get what you pay for, not a lot you can say about them other than they are well made and do the job, i always buy quality brands with a good reputation and knipex is one of those brands

Knipex cobras are a great bit of kit to have in your bag. I bought these when I borrowed a set from someone the grip on them is unbelievable and Im looking to add the smaller set to my toolkit soon. Knipex is brand with a good rep and they’ve certainly lived upto the rep with these.

Build quality, as you’d expect from Knipex, is top draw. I have 2 and use them most days, and they are showing no real signs of wear. The mechanism that holds the jaws at the size required is very effective.

Got given 2 sets of these when i was an apprentice although not a tool i use every day for cable glands these are great lock inti postion and dont slip out like some of the cheaper make adjustable so saves having to carry multiple tools to do diffrent sizes never seen a poor build quality from these guys yet

The best set of pliers available. I've had a set for over 10 years and still going strong. I've recently bought 2 more smaller size pliers and they come in handy in tighter spaces. Strong build quantity.

I picked up a 250mm pair of these from the Elex show last year. I have used them mostly for steel conduit work and I am impressed with the grip of these. The button adjustment is quick and easy, and as with all Knipex products, they are solid in the hand and feel like good quality. Definitely can recommend these for a sparkys tool bag!

These chaps are in my personal carry , these are just right for up to 1inch comfortable use or a good 2 1/2 if your in a pinch , also the adjuster is great , I have to sets one is the slide adjuster and the push button and the push button is better marginally

A great set of grips to have in the tool collection. In my opinion and experience Knipex builds only quality tools which are solid and robust.

Easy to use grip is good and fairly cheap to buy ... Always keep these in my tool bag great for tight spaces or awkward lock nuts definitely worth buying

These grips are the best on the market, I’ve got the small set 125 and the bigger 250’s they fit comfortably in the hand, when applying pressure they bite hard and don’t slip, great tools!

These are by far the best pipe grips on the market.
The small increments of the spring button is great to find just the right jaw spacing.
There are none of the slipping issues you get with other designs of pipe grips.
They would last a lifetime if I could find a way of stopping them getting stollen every few years.

Best grips available by far had 2 sets in my tool-bag since i was an apprentice 15 years of use and still as good as the day I bought them mainly used for SWA glands

The BEST grips on the market, simple as that really! incredibly well made, put my old channel locks to shame! To the point where when I got the knipex, I demoted my channel locks to the garden shed and replaced all the other sizes with knipex!

The best pump pliers I've ever used! I've used a few different pairs mine and colleagues, and I have to say that these are far superior. I have a slightly different version to these but still the cobras. The bite is great and the adjustment range is excellent too.

Happy with my set, I use them for SWA glands and any other random thing, they grip very well without rounding the nut. I'll happily buy some more of these again.

I have these in 8, 10 & 12” and they are all great. Very rarely slip even on the tightest and most awkward pumps and the small ones stay in the pocket and are used for everything. Go to tool on a daily basis

One of the more expensive sets of grips. But I have 4 pairs as they are the best on the market. Mine get used daily and get thrown about a bit and have had no issues with them. They get regularly cleaned and well maintained. They will last me many years to come.

I bought these recently and am really impressed, the transfer of power and grip is excellent, making easy work of seized fittings.

As always knipex are the quality manufacturer. The cobras are super strong and don’t slip! Good adjustment mechanism that doesn’t move when you’re using them one handed upside down backwards etc!

Great to use and can be stored away in tool boxes and bags, great to keep in the van. Would even be handy for use at home when needed.

I've had my knipex water pump pliers for years and there still in top shape the quality is second to none they are pricey though but you only will buy this tool once.

The knipex cobra pump pliers are the best you can buy. The locking pin is a much better idea than the half moon ratchet system. The handles are also shaped to make them more comfortable.

My favourite pliers. I use these daily as a plumber and wouldn't be without them. The grip is fantastic and don't wear out like channel locks do.

Have tried many brands over the years but since finding these I would never buy any other brand. Great grip, don't slip brilliant all round

Got 3 sizes, what an excellent tool. Il be using these from now on. They have excellent grip and excellent ergonomics.

Got all 4 sizes. Very strong and reliable. The push button I prefer to stop slipping. Price is ok for the quilty your getting

Nice grips to use, they have lasted me 6 years so far and still going strong. I’ve used um as grips and a hammer a pry bar and they have not broken and the bits of damage are my fault for using them wrong.

The only grips Iv ever used I have all the sizes and I won’t use any other brand grips, amazing quality great value for money also!

Excellent grips, must have for the tool bag. Quick and precise adjustment using the button. Holds onto small galv pipe, hex fittings and locking rings with ease. Managed to lose my last pair and was in no doubt to get another pair.

Great item wouldn't use a different brand in hand tools of this type and also reasonably priced. Don't wear down like other grips and are a pleasure to use.

Locks on to pipe when used, to pipe will break before these pliers. Push button allows means they can be adjusted a lot easier than channel locks.

Great pair of grips durable and great value for money. Nice wide grip prefer these to the rothenburgers.

Without doubt the best pliers you can get, I own a variety of sizes and use them all on a daily basis. Well built, solid feel and will never let you down.

Great pair of grips but the teeth do wear down under normal use. Certainly one of the tools we like to see in the toolbox.

Best set of grips on the market in my opinion, I have used the bahco and the rothenberger grips in the past and these are much better. I like the shape of them and the handles which make tightening fittings a breeze. A joy to use.

Quality build. The 125mm version are great to get into small places within boilers. Also have the 18mm and my next purchase will be the 300mm

Far and away the best grips i hae ever used.
The 5inch set is probably my most used set. Ideal when working on gas fires or inside boilers.
I also have the 6 inch and 10 inch sets.
The locking mechanism prevents them lipping and nipping your fingers. The build quality feels top class and they are a beautiful piece of german engineering.
I would never go back to using any other brand
