Great crimps, have not had a bad connection with them yet as with others and they have a super positive feeling function to them.
Grip fits the hand well and is not so overpowered that you cannot feel the terminals compressing which I like.
Not too much to say. Best crimps Ive used to date

Knipex build quality networking tool that most of the trade should have! Nice ratchet handle which makes the stripping of the data cable nice and easy, can be stripped at 6mm or 12mm and trimmed up using the nice Sharp built in cutter.
For use with rj 11/12 and rj45
Doesn't work so well with the shielded cable but added with a knife works a treat.
I found every end I terminated using the knipex crimpers was perfect compared to the lower quality set I had from the suppliers (I thought it was poor quality rj45 connectors and even had the supplier order me in better quality ones) The latching tab and pins were all seated perfectly and once tested and zero failures

The KNIPEX network crimper is a brilliant tool if you do data cabinets or make patch leads for network connections.
You can use it for all UK standard network connectors and its comfy grip means when doing a lot of ends it doesn't give you the repetitive strain unlike other cheaper models of network crimpers. For the price it has a good build quality and comfort in mind for the installer.
The feedthrough crimp function is easy to use along with the stripping tool and cutter are convenient to use too meaning less time to change between different tools.
The only negative is it doesn't have a pass-through cutter like other crimpers of similar cost on the market which means to make off ends you need to cut the cable to length before adding the connector.

As with all knipex tools these are well made. I was sent a set to try, and to review. They are well built and the handles feel strong and comfortable to grip.
When you are using them they feel like you are holding a quality product. I have used cheaper non named crimpers before and found them hit or miss not properly crimping down the connectors meaning that I have had to waste time cutting off the faulty connector and remaking the ends. I use good quality rj45 connectors made by ideal connectors and they clicked snugly into the crimpers.
There is also a blade that you use to score the outer sheath on the cat 5/6 cables. There is an additional blade that can be used to cut the cores of the cable to length so you can get the layout correct to go into the rj45 connectors.
I would recommend these as with all knipex tools to anyone looking for a new set of rj45 crimpers

Knipex crimping pliers are a joy to use.
I have not done a lot of data cable runs in the past but had a job coming up where I needed to make off a fair few points for a bit of home entertainment.
These worked a treat, smooth action and accurate. A nice sharp blade for cutting and stripping.
At first I though the ratchet mechanism a little weak but there is really not a lot of effort that goes into terminating data cable.
As with all knipex products the materials and feel of the product are outstanding. A precise piece of kit.
