Nerrad Tools

I have a few Nerrad tools and have to say the quality is fantastic. The tapex kit is especially an amazing bit of kit only let down slightly by the price tag. If you can afford it then well worth the investment

Used this product when it first came out and been a fan ever since. Easy to install and done that many it has become second nature. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the gas industry

I have only used colleague nerrad tools, can not justify the cost of there tools.
Do not get me wrong they are good tools but you have todo a lot of tap swaps to justify the cost

I have the tap fitting tool set , it’s a lot of money and really had to think twice about whether I could justify the cost but in the end bit the bullet
Glad I did it’s quality well made and pretty much will do 90% of taps

I have the Nerrad NT4035 Adjustable Ratchet Action Copper/INOX Tube Cutter, Red/Black, 12-35 mm, it’s an excellent cutter, easy to use. Excellent at cutting 35mm copper in situ especially in tight spaces.

I have Only got a couple of Nerrad tools but they are real quality however they are quite expensive. I really like the look of the tap kit they do but for the money I couldn’t justify getting it

Got the 15mm pipe slice goes through like butter also has a good surface to grip only time will tell how it holds up but initially well impressed

Pipe slices are amazing!!! I was sceptical about purchasing them as I’ve heard a few bad things but overall very impressed. I also purchased the 28mm ratchet slice.

Absolutely love my pipe slices! with RB, I need to trim about 4mm and above, with my nerrard slices I can get it less than that, which is great.

I do have a burner lamp, 13 months of owning, I regularly cleaned it, and never got solder in the end. It stopped allowing the gas through, So for that ive dropped a few marks on product quality.

Expensive tools in my opinion I have the 15,22,28mm slices and they are the best so
I can’t understand why there are on the pricey side there pipe benders also look very good and will
Be getting some when my current ones give up there “versa funnel” is also amazing

Tapex kit is great, I don’t think there’s any situation where it falls short. Every plumber should definitely have one. I also use the Jet Swet, saved the day a few times

Got several tools from this brand now , versa funnel , tapex kit and draindown hose. The versa funnel is by far the most adaptable and only decent tool on in the market for what it does , highly recommended if your a plumber or heating engineer for draindown of boilers and radiators. Tapex kit kit is also very good and very adaptable for bath and basin taps. Draindown hose is ok and does the job also good quality but does kink so you have to live with managing around that.

The first thing I bought of theirs was the Versa Funnel. Don’t use it very often but when I do it’s the exact thing you need and is worth every penny. Gets those drips from every angle

I have used the Nerrad pipe slices for a couple of years and found them to be the best I’ve had over the years I have used all of the other manufactures slices but have found these to be the best
I also have the Tapex kit which is expensive but worth every penny it’s got me out of tight situations a number of times

I only have the Versa Funnel but what a brilliant must have tool to carry in the bag.
Such a simple idea but let’s be honest most of the best ones usually are.
I’d also love a tap spanner set but can’t quite bring myself to part with the £150+ quid needed for one. Though from the videos I’ve seen really look good

Expensive items but worth the money use the versa funnel daily what a great idea recently added the tapex kit and what a god send in awkward spaces and great quality

Very expensive, and poor build quality. The best two tools they have made are “versa funnel” and the stubby adjustable spanner. The rest of the kit is very poor. I would not recommend to anyone to purchase anything other than the two items I have mentioned.

Tapex Tap Wrench Kit
I purchased one of the tap fitting sets at Installer 2019, having seen them last year. I am very impressed with the set. The build quality is excellent and the adjustable wrench is a fantastic piece of engineering. There is also a handle for the sockets that actual allows the pipe to fit down the centre of the handle enabling a good grip on awkward connections. Although the price di put me off initially I am more than pleased with the set and the time it saves is already adding up.

We use the grips and think there great had a issue with the tap tool set and broke still awaiting the correct part after 2 moths bin sent 3 wrong bits unable to use. Sort it out nerrad!

Have only bought the pump adjustable spanner which is brilliant and adjustable ratchet cutter. Looks good and works great would definitely try other tools.

Tried a few different Nerrad tools, if they lasted a couple of weeks before problems and ultimate failure then I was doing extremely well. The customer service seems ok but what use is this when the tools just are not up to the job.

In my opinion it seems the tools were rushed to market, just seems so many have had similar issues with the cutters and torches. Shame really

I have mixed opinions on these, when I first heard about them thought they was brillant but the longer time passes, I'm having too replacement them.
I've had a few slices and 2 blowtorches, in 6 months!!

Bought the large cutter (the one that does 50mm pipe) very happy with it, truth be told it only ever gets used to cut plastics as I like a clean edge but it does its job well had the same cutter from ridgid cost me £110 used for the same job (apprentice lost it) can't see a difference between this £50 version in performance.

These tools are truly awful. I was impressed with them at first but after a week my pipe cutters were useless. And after a month my blow tourch blew up in my hands. And I'm not the only one this has happened too. Lots of members of gas chat have had the same experience. Don't buy if you like your hands not been burnt. Someone is going to get realy hurt soon.

Shocking customer services. Worst tools and worst company I've ever delt with.
